We won't. I gave my opinion previously that Dybala's supposed wage demands were a smokescreen to disguise the fact that he just didn't want to sign for United.
What will the excuse be when he doesn’t want to sign for Spurs?

Bizarre that people (even seasoned spurs fans who should know levy by now) get excited and start thinking it's a possibility.

Yeah we're about to pay Dybala 200k a week or whatever, we do stuff like that all the time..
I refuse to believe it until I see him with the shirt. Nice to dream though.

It won't happen. Until I see him holding a Spurs shirt I won't believe it for a second.
I'm not saying it will happen. I'm just saying that image rights are part of the financial discussion - and in Dybala's case probably a big part.

I don’t think you’ve understood the image rights issue. His wages don’t change.
Image rights earn money. A star player who signs a deal that retains personal ownership of image rights will not expect to be paid as much wages compared to signing a deal that gives image rights to the buying club.

I can't even bring myself to dream because I don't even find it slightly believable, unlike the Fernandes/Lo Celso links.

We just don't sign players like Dybala .. period.

Fair play if spurs managed to pull this off.

Would signal they are serious about getting to the very top, London location, brand new stadium they have all the things in place to go to the next level if they really want it.

How can spurs pay Dybalas wages and keep kane happy? Same with Coutinho if he joins as well.

Are there people that really think that Spurs can afford his salary?

Laughable.

Juve are hanging Dybala out to dry. Never mess with the Italians.

They've put his price out there for the world to see and also outed him as a money grabber with his wage and agents demands.

I think Juve are that desperate to get rid of him, Yeovil Town could offer £20, a bottle of the finest Scrumpy Cider and a bag of Pork Scratchings and they'd accept it!

It'll be exactly the same as United's situation, Juve accept a bid and Tottenham think they have the edge because of CL football, though history tells us they likely wont get past the group stage or R16

Obviously he's shit and we never wanted him anyway. The previous 223 pages are just a group joke

I won't need an excuse … for the simple reason that I haven't said he will sign for Spurs. But it's not impossible that he will - for reasons that I've already given earlier in this thread.

And those saying that it is impossible, seriously under-rate the attractiveness of what Spurs offer … but that's nothing new.

Hopefully he signs for Spurs and that frees up Eriksen for cut price move to us
Most interesting part of this is how will the wage structure be affected by this at Spurs

This won’t happen.

Sky are desperately trying to push this to fill their air time.

If spurs only pay Kane 200 NO WAY will they get dybala for 300+ it’s laughable.

Spurs will likely get Coutinho and Eriksen may well come to us.
Dybala will likely end up at PSG later on in August. I'm starting to believe the reports that he just doesn't want to play in the Premier league

As far as I can see, the article doesn't say that a 3rd party own them. It says that they did own them from 2016-17, and that now Juve own "only some portion". Presumably Dybala owns the rest?

Never claimed you will but you won’t actually be saying that Dybala didn’t want to play for Spurs will you?

Am I right in thinking that Dybala is on more money at Juve than anyone at spurs?

What i read is that he has a contract with a 3rd party and he unilateraly cancelled the contract last year i think it was.
The 3rd party are now taking legal action, which i imagine would have to be sorted out with any buying club

IF this goes through then as I have said United are sinking fast, 4 clubs in our own league who are more attractive to join than us now.

His girlfriend probably calling the shots now wanting to move to London.

This is going to get interesting. How the likes of Madrid, Barca, PSG, Bayern, even Chelsea etc haven't also been involved, given one of the most talented players in world football is so obviously listed for sale, is strange. Maybe he is overrated by the fans who watch the game and not rated by those within the game?

I'd be surprised if Spurs could afford his salary if he was asking for the sort of sums that even United baulk at.

But if he does sign you can be guaranteed he'll score 73 goals next season and win Spurs the league.
