This is random but one thing that always strikes me when it comes to David Moyes' time here is that he was incredibly ambitious in terms of the players he was looking to sign in the transfer market. Bale, Kroos, Fabregas, etc but all turned him down.

I'm worried more about our midfield than our strikers. Lukaku is not a big loss. His lack of movement really hinders our attack. 10 goals is not a lot to make up for young hungry players. However, If Pogba is injured, we're looking at Fred, Matic, Pereira, and McTominay as our only options. Matic is no spring chicken and missed several games last season. We're in for a treat of a season.

He was like a kid in a sweet shop with his first hundred pound bill and ended up buying a brush and a paper.

Just as there are tweets relating to United that are getting responses, you pop up with your usual attention seeking shit. Honestly to sit there and spend this much time all for recognition as a complete twat is truly sadness taken to a new level. You’ve single handedly ruined this thread. How the feck this isn’t considered a clear WUM is beyond me.

Alright cool.

Will say this though, if he has to be pulling and tugging to get in a better position or put off a defender then hes not very good at actually defending.
Yeah whatever. Like the argument we've been hearing for years that if a defender had really good positioning, he wouldn't need to be tackling or be particularly fast either.

Like I said, I don't subscribe to that purist nonsense. In fact, I openly mock them. Using everything you can or have in order to gain an advantage, is not in any way a show of weakness or inability to me.

It's not so random. Everything right now, from the manager appointed to our transfer dealings, reminds me of the Moyes time.

The title does not say PL Tranfer Tweets. It says Transfer Tweets. He is posting transfer tweets, probably the only tweets that actually have any truth to them. The numerous tweets linking us to every player under the sun are the wind ups.

Infomation

I have not listened to all of the episode yet but Duncan Castle's claims not to take the breif from Manchester United regarding Christen Eriksen too seriously because there is still interest in the player but apperently Daniel Levy is being difficult over the price and the player is indeed interested in moving to Spain.

He also claims he was informed by one of his sources "late last night" that Manchester United are still in for Paulo Dybala and that could have ramications for Spurs because of their interest in the player as well.

This is an entertainment industry. If we don’t put out an entertaining team this season, fewer people will watch. Simple as.

Of course the ones who shackle themselves to the team/TV will. But ones who can willfully avoid the disappointment that comes with watching this club for 6 years now will find better things to do with their time.
We've been practically saying this the past five years, yet United are the second or third most watched club in the UK. Also, the TV money is divided pretty evenly amongst the clubs to begin with.

18/19 Matches televised: 27
TV income: £31.2million
Ranked 2nd I believe behind City, ahead of Liverpool.

People watch United, just like they did when they were relegated (especially in person).

You know it, I know it and he knows that those tweets are of zero interest to 99% of people on here. He’s doing it because he lacks any sort of attention in real life, so would much rather spend that much of his time to build up an online persona of some sort of meme. He’s even shit at being a WUM. feck me at least the likes of Pert, Weaste and to an extent @esmufc07 were entertaining. This cnut is just using a technicality to get around being banned.
Anyway I’m out of this thread, you guys enjoy reading about league 2 team signings.

Interesting....FWIW I don't think Dybala will be here come Saturday, but we'll see.

Fans who think that commercial success will continue endlessly while we continue to spiral downwards are deluding themselves. We will be in trouble sooner than many think.

Some people also support lower league teams as well. Sometimes they are about kids who have moved on from United, so it is nice to know where they are.

It's also worth noting Duncan Castles is freinds with Patrice Evra and it has been rumoured for a while that he is "one of his sources" for stuff that is going on at Manchester United. If this is the case, his claims that the Paulo Dybala deal is still being worked on line up with Patrice Evra's activity on Instagram.

He isn’t posting about our kids though is he? Come on. How many threads do we see about lower league teams in the football forum? People on here care about major leagues and their transfers, I would understand if he posted a few about lower leagues but he has dedicated his time to just that. He’s a WUM and an absolutely shit one at that. Like it stagers me how pathetic someone could be to spend this much of their time and effort doing this for this long. It stopped being amusing after the first few tweets.

Did you actually read what I wrote? I ask because you straw man me with the free speech bit in direct contradiction to me clearly stating that I don't want to ban criticism.
Yeah, I read what you wrote, you said you want the mods to take a stance on it, the only way they can do that is to ban posters, because it's the only way you can stop people saying things on a message board, so essentially you are saying ban free speech, as it's not hate speech or abusive language, questioning if he's clueless or out of his depth or unable to attract top players is every bit as valid as it was under Moyes. Ole started well here but we were absolutely diabolical for the last 15 games or so, outplayed and out managed by mid table sides, there are huge question marks when we appointed a manager with hardly any top level experience after we made a statement saying no one will be appointed permanent manager until after the season ends and the DOF is in place, then we went and did the complete opposite which is total amateur hour stuff.

David Neres would be a great signing. He is young and a massive talent and he is a rightwinger which we desperately need. While I think Sancho is better overall I dont know if we can afford to wait a whole season. We need creativity and Neres would deliver that.

James Rodriguez and Ziyech would improve us massively but hey Ole has his list and he knows best.
