The worst thing about this window isn't the lack of buying but the lack of selling. We should have sold at least Darmian and Sanchez before getting rid of Lakuku. I'm happy with the signing but we failed to replace Herrera which will see us battle for 4th instead of comfortable top 4.
We aren’t going to sell to English clubs. It’s only the English window that shuts today, don’t know why people keep saying this. We will most likely sell them to European sides after our window shuts.

I'd be stunned if we manage to sell even one of Jones, Matic, Mata or Lingard to a non-English club. Bailly is injured, Sanchez is unsellable and because of squad weaknesses we need to keep hold of Young and Smalling.

That leaves Darmian, Rojo and Lukaku who we can realistically sell after the window closes.

We was never going to sell Matic, Mata or Lingard.

It was always looking likely we'd sell 1 CB and Darmian.

3 of those aren’t going anywhere?

We were never going to sell Mata, Jesse, Jones and Matic. Yes that does leave Lukaku, Darmian and Rojo players who we actually have a chance of selling I don’t get your point?

Either Woodward is going to go mental on deadline day, or the fans are going to go mental this weekend. There is no middle ground.

Deliver one of Eriksen, Bruno, Dybala, and all will be forgiven.

I can see Dybala Lukaku last minute swap deal with us paying more money to his agent to make it happen.

Any deal looks unlikely now, considering Solskjaer's attitude as a manager, after looking at the youth during pre-season, they should be given the chance in attack. I personally found the ability of Gomes inside the box as a dribbler and passer far superior than some of the so called first team regulars.

The defence seems to be the strongest since I have seen in the past 5 years. It's just that the midfield is a big concern if anyone gets injured.

I hope United move for a midfielder. I think something odd like Rakitic on a loan with an option to a permanent deal could happen.

We better spend the Lukaku money on a starting 11 attacker, or there will be riots next year. Manzukic alone isn't anywhere near enough.

I thought the window closed tomorrow. Feck.
United could have the window shut on September 8th and I would still not be confident we would sign anyone else. In my honest opinion I think it has been an average window for us, however average seems to be our mantra nowadays.

James Cooper: "unlikely that United sign anymore players with the time remaining, but I was told yesterday they were working on a couple of deals"

He mentioned Mandzukic and Inaki Williams..

Hold onto your knickers then because we are not even getting MandyZuky.

We are done for this transfer window. The owners are getting ready to sell out to the Saudi’s so they are spending no more than they need.
