Why do you think its trump?

The people with the most to lose was the clintons seemingly, no?
No.
Is there anybody claiming that Clinton abused kids? I mean an official complaint. Both Trump and Prince Andrew have had women say that they were abused by them under Epstein's watch. I haven't heard that about Clinton. Even if they had Clinton is out of office with none of his family up for election. The other 2 one is POTUS while the other is the son of the Queen.

I think that the Clintons have the least of the 3 families to lose.

It's utterly ludicrous to suggest the Clintons in this, they have nothing to loose, even if Bill had done any of the things the others are accused of the republicans would never have gone against him because they wouldn't want to set a precedent. (The same reason the democrats will never seriously go after Trump even should they come to dominate every branch of government one day.)

I put anyone going on about the Clintons these days in the same hat as anti vaxers and flat earthers. (Not saying it was the Donald either)

The GOP-led House impeached Clinton over lying about a blowjob. They'd be even worse in today's power above all political climate.

I'm not saying it was Trump or the Royal Family either just that I can't see what the Clintons have to lose.

Oh yeah, neither am I, didn't want to imply that. I think he probably killed himself and was put into a situation where he could easily do so on purpose by people inside the criminal justice system (for reasons unknown to me).

I didn't think you weren't implying that. The man was a sick cnut I can understand him taking his own life.

Serene Gregg, president of the American Federation of Government Employees Local 3148, said the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan is functioning with less than 70 percent of the needed correctional officers, forcing many to work mandatory overtime and 60- or 70-hour workweeks.

She said one of the individuals assigned to watch Epstein’s unit did not normally work as a correctional officer but, like others in roles such as counselors and teachers, was able to do so. She declined to say which one or specify the person’s regular role.
Shockingly, underfunding and understaffing crucial institutions may have consequences!

Yeah I'm not buying that "the richest nation on earth" which has the resources to monitor and save all communication on earth and "intelligence" to weed out the dangerous ones does not have the ability to keep an eye on one inmate in Manhattan

Dr Michael Baden...85 yrs old. Bit of bio from Wiki.

He is the Chief Forensic Pathologist for the New York State Police.

He was chairman of the House Select Committee on Assassinations Forensic Pathology Panel that investigated the assassination of John F Kennedy.

He testified at the OJ Simpson trial for the defence.

He testified at the Phil Spector trial for the defence. (His wife was a member of the defence team).

In all of the above cases his input was controversial and you could say some found it “suspect”.

He was hired to perform private autopsies in a number of cases including the shooting of Michael Brown, and the deaths of New England Patriots football player Aaron Hernandez and civil rights lawyer and politician Chokwe Limumba.

He is the Forensic Science contributor for Fox News.

So some of the tabloids also have George Clooney somehow mixed up in it all too. I wonder how many Hollywood people are sweating right now

Given that he had no spouse, children or living parents (at least as far as I know) do we know who these "Epstein’s representatives" are?

If anyone accepts that he actually ‘topped himself’ and this isn’t all a grand conspiracy is beyond help. No cameras eh? He’s alive and fecking well, probably fiddling a minor at this very moment.

Had not been checked for hours instead of the stipulated 15 minutes. Also inmates just getting off suicide watch must have a cell mate, he didn't as well.
Stinks to high heaven.

The requirement is every 30 minutes for non-suicide watch inmates and 15 for suicide watch. Leaving him without a cellmate seems incredibly convenient for someone who wants to harm himself.

He should have also had a cellmate but the inmate scheduled to move in with him was transferred on Friday just hours before he killed himself.

Why would inmate be scheduled to move in with him and then suddenly be moved? Surely they would know in advance if someone was due to be moved.

How many suicides happen in prison (more specifically, the MDC)?

It would be very annoying if the investigation focused on this suicide alone.
In this prison it is the first in 21 years.
