Most of his 'defenders' are just concerned that sacking Ole now won't do any good.

Any new manager that comes in will have to contend with one of the worst United squads in decades. At least Ole knows these players and their limitations, the new manager won't have a clue what he's walking into.
What does he know? He knows bloody nothing, possibly the worst ever manager in this club.

I am ready to bet that whoever we appoint as our new manager, we will finish the season at higher position than Ole will have left us in.

I've been Ole out for a bit, but I was willing to wait to see if he could improve with some transfers in January, and then evaluate who can take over and start fresh next season.

I think I've changed my mind on that. He needs sacking ASAP.

3 wins only this season out of 10 games. 30% winning percentage. 28% in league only.

Hopefully we finish in top 10 and get past EL group stage.

Im sure as a sane person he isn't expecting long term planning to produce results overnight.

Do people here know what long term means ?

We are not going to challenge this season or next. These performances are what we can expect if we are going to challenge in a few years time

Otherwise by repeatedly chopping and changing the manager we will keep going backwards for the next 20years,
Delusional. Liverpool finished 8th in Klopps first season. But we saw the high press, they were scoring goals but leaking them. Klopp also had credit in the bank with his work at Dortmund.

What are we showing? We getting worse every game. Ole hasn’t shown anything in his career he can do this sort of rebuild. This job is too big for him. It’s like hiring Bruce.

This is the worst we've been since Moyes, I'd be happy for him to take the director of football or head of football role which is supposedly happening but he's a shite manager.

Yeah, right. You would leave your highly paid dream job knowing that your future is in some local company( Norway in his case)?
Sacked, or resign I don't care.

We're a laughing stock. He's completely and utterly out of his depth. Is he not humiliated and embarrassed?

To get long term result( plan) you must have progress at all time. Small steps yes, but still you must go forward all the time and have peak in that second or third season. Ole has zero progress. After nearly a year we can't have shot on target ffs

He is testing my resolve. God that was awful stuff. No forward passes at all.

I still back him but am losing my faith.

Things should not be this bad in a transition phase. We've been in relegation form since February, we're averaging less than a goal per game, we have no wins in our last 10 away games and just 5 wins home/away in our last 22 games. We are getting progressively worse from game to game. All of the 'gains' supposedly made with regards to playing style in preseason (high tempo, pressing from the front, fluid attack) have fallen by the wayside.

This is not building for the future, or developing a system of play or blooding in young players; it is simply terminal decline.

Those stats real?
Of course they are. We couldn’t even beat Huddersfield who were one of the worst teams in premier league history last season.

It’s going to be same old predictable performance vs Newcastle.

In fairness, we had plenty of poor performances under the big man Fergie.

The rea problem, is that we're not seeing any of the good ones!

I’ve said for a while that I like his overall ideas in terms of player recruitment amd where he wants the club to go, but his actual coaching and tactical nous seems to leave a lot to be desired.

Your suggestion, while it will never happen, is a good one.

Not buying this 3/4 year plan nonsense at all. If I started a job tomorrow with some fairytale 5 year plan, and produced literally no results whatsoever that would indicate that I can deliver, I'd be sacked. Simple.

We can't keep justifying that there's a plan and a structure in place if we're literally seeing none of that transpire anywhere. You have to earn the right to prove you can do what you say you will. Right now we don't look like we'd manage to score regularly in the Champoinship.

If we give Ole years to execute his vision that he obviously has, give him the time he needs like everyone says we should, it could be a long road back if he's already driven us off the cliff.

Sick to death of watching the squad. Pathetic stuff week in, week out.

His long term plan is to lead us to relegation -> sponsorship out -> Glazer's family out. Truely a Red devil legend, salute!

Solskjaer is fecking shite.

There’s no point in having a reasoned debate.

19 goals in our last twenty games, 5 wins in the last 22.

On a more positive note, that's a very good picture of Ole...

But yeah, I'm starting to wonder if he'll step down?
No chance. Why would he. Be silly of him to do so, really. He has the job of his dreams and if he steps down i assume he'll be losing out on a pretty penny.
