De Gea has said it's the worst he's ever seen at Utd. Worse than Moyes, LVG, and Jose. They all got the sack and yet we're still worse off.
Did he say that! Damning on the manager if so!

Just when you think that things can't get any worse. That was as bad as when we got relegated in the early 70's and in Fergie's early days in the late 80's. I just don't get how we could go from being sh*t under Mourinho last year, to winning 14 out of 17 games, to being even more sh*t under Solskjaer.

To get rid of such a bulk of the squad and only bring in 3 players-to expect to be anywhere else in the table.....I really don’t know what they were thinking. I was full sure that when Lukaku was sold, they had a deal done for someone else.

It’s just negligence. If you don’t have players who can create and score goals, it’s simple, you’re not going to win football matches.

We could be in serious trouble lads. I see two defeats in the next two. We shouldn’t be surprised by the result today, on paper, it’s very close.

I’m just so sad lately.

I'm not seeing this to be honest. I think they're Januzaj Mcnair Blackett etc mark 2
I could never see anything special in those players. Garner, Greenwood and Gomes etc. are all technically superior.

More positives to take from the game. Tuanzebe is ready for 1st team even in CB, LB or RB. Rashford has to accept he is not a CF, and therefore is in competition for LW and may well be benched end up sold to Arsenal. This has exposed the truth about him. Pereira after his loans has been given his chance and blown it, so now the whole club knows he has to go too. Matic and Young will be released at the end of their contracts. Mata will too but may have to leave to the MLS or China to get 1st team football. Fred is being shown to unequivocally have no future at the club, and Lingard too. A whole load of question marks over players have been answered, and should lead to no new contracts offered and sales. We might even get a new Physio Dept. out of this. Maybe we even manage to get a DOF, but I think it will take relegation to get rid of Woodward.

When they were countering 3 of our players were close to the ball carrier. How about a slide tackle? Worse you're gonna end up with a yellow. We could have atleast stopped the goal. Brainless team

That might have been another thing DDG was getting at, nobody did anything to prevent their attack. Tactical fouling.

You can tell the press are starting to reveal their true selves with Ole, they were so nice and jovial up until now.
Like the Skeksis revealing their true nature, poor Ole

Just as expected, getting worse and worse each match. Clueless manager.

We deserved to lose. That moment where Young plays the one two, is in the box but tries to square it Rashford, that epitomised what this United is. Young could have curled it in from there but he surrendered responsibility. He, our captain and most experienced player, didn't take charge of the situation and try to win the game for us. We played with a total lack of balls, hiding from difficult options, taking loads of touches to go sideways. When you cowardly you deserve nothing and nothing is what we got. Nothing is what we are.

We shall see, lots of players look good at youth level. You know who's got some serious young players? Chelsea. Wow their youngsters are good.

That is not a bad team, problem is that they are often injured and that our options in midfield and attack are non existing.

The frustration coming from de gea says a lot.

His interview seems really difficult for him, he cant explain the performances

Gary flip-flops constantly. He does not know who to blame from one day to the next.
Because he has spoken so much bollocks he’s running out of room to manoeuvre. He should just come out and say that we’re fecking shambolic and at end of the day, the buck stops with the manager. If his club, Salford, went through similar run of results, he’d change his tune very fecking quickly indeed, I suspect.

Ole has no idea what he is doing, not tactics no attacking scheme, hard to say ole out but he should resign before the fans turn against a legend.

Dear god, we can't even look half decent against Newcastle:annoyed:
Were we this bad 88-89?
Yes, we were. I was in the Fergie out camp then. Good job the Board stuck with him for 20 years of amazing success.
However, let's be honest, Fergie must shoulder some of the blame for our current mess.
His fall out with the two Irish race horse owners, our major share holders, led them to sell their shares to the Glazers to take over the club in 2005.
Failure to buy decent replacements post 2009 Ronaldo sale, spouting "no value in the market" bollocks.
Recommending Moyes as his replacement manager.
So, all this has been coming for the past 15 years.

A brilliant manager, but those were all terrible errors, and it sounds like there was no succession plan in place at all. However, running Man Utd is such an all-encompassing job it should have been up to those above him to organise that process. Ferguson's recommendation of Moyes shouldn't have counted for as much as it did.

We would've conceded anyway but a point is better than nothing I guess.
Not necessarily at all.
Their one chance was a breakaway from a corner!

It was just written we'd lose today.

Some people are so blinded at how crap we are, that they refuse to accept that Wan Bissaka on top of the 3 you mentioned, is a huge part of our team.

You take Martial and Pogba out and you're taking the 2 players who can do anything beyond the standard out. It's a huge difference.
This is the only positive from the past 1.5 months. We have good players out.

But it's a bit clutchy at straws.

None of those are bad decisions. Lukaku wanted to leave himself, the guy was basically on strike, and even refused to report back to the club.

Make no mistake, Woodward is a huge problem, and even with a new manager, if this cnut is still in charge, we will see more of the same.
Lukaku was happy enough when Ole came in, Ole benched him for “Rashy” and he was never first choice again. It was clear as day we were selling Lukaku even to us fans, so why didn’t Ole make sure he signed a suitable replacement to challenge for the top 4? Is it some mad coincidence we now don’t score goals? That is on Ole, he had an entire summer to replace Lukaku, the guy was training with Anderlect in June FFS, Ole knew he was going, so why didn’t he spend 2 months buying a striker to score us 15-20 league goals this season? Cus I tell you what, Rashford is nowhere to be seen. We’re putting crosses into the box and he’s hiding behind his marker! McTomminay is bursting into the box and providing more prescience than Rashford, and he’s a defensive midfielder! At least Martial has some proven class in his talent, he will score 15+ goals if he plays every week. Rashford hasn’t and wont. That’s on Ole, he decided to stick with Martial and Rashford leaving us exposed if we lose one to injury, and ultimately it will cost him his job. Inexperience for you, he’s not cut out for the top level. Nice bloke Ole, but not good enough to ever manage an elite club.

It's become the same joyless football when watching matches was a chore as under LVG and Mourinho. I'd actually argue it's worse, right now, than under either of them.
Set pieces are a joke. We would be better punting the ball back to DDG as we wont score and at least we cant be caught on the break.
Never felt confident when I saw the team sheet and thought 0-0 was best we could manage.

Yes it's very little alibi, as the likes of Pogba have been playing most games.

It's just typical though of where we are, that even when we get Shaw fit, and even when we finally buy a proper right back, we still end up playing Young every week.

And to top it all off, we actually RESTED him in the cup recently!

Stupid over confidence I say. We'll just brush him off the ball they though. Shows how leader less this team is

Spot on. No one takes responsibility to try and create an opening or take a shot. They are all cowards, afraid of making a mistake, so they keep abdicating responsibility by passing the ball to a team mate, until a defender makes a tackle or an interception. And as another poster wrote, Rashford hides behind his marker, so he never gets to give himself a decent chance of missing.
