First ever sub 2 hour Marathon

Looking forward to this. Bbc website and red button streaming it if anyone is up early
 
I think he will do this, posted in the running thread the reasons why he failed at Monza.
The conditions, the route and the planning are on point.
 
Those pacer changes are so smooth.
 
Last pacemaker change over was shaky, Kipchoge tripped a little.
 
I am so impressed by Kipchoge. 2:50 kimometers throughout, that’s admirable consistency.

Really hope he makes it.

Bang on sub 2 hour pace. His body must be screaming at him to stop but he must be mentally as tough as nails.
His running style is still the same as at the start.
This will be remembered for ever.

It is the side on views that you can actually see how fast and in what good form he.
Truly history making. I can hardly believe it.

I got back from my 10 mile and it just reminded how quick this guy is. I'm in Absolute bits :lol: He is a freak of an athlete and he seems like such a great guy

I love that view because the stride is so smooth it's incredible. I love and hate seeing people run on the side before collapsing after 10 seconds
 
What a finish eh. He is a machine in a human body.
This is THE best human achievement ever. And if anyone disagrees then tell me what was better.
 
This has certainly inspired me...to grow a moustache. Some of the taches on show were majestic
 
There was no atmosphere in that monza attempt, he lives off the energy of the crowd.

Also look at the formation, was all over the place.
