Newcastle didn't have Salah and Mane, so not quite. The previous game?
The next drubbing we'll have is early December. Spurs and City back to back in three days.

Really? I thought we played really well last year at home and was a last min tap in away from 3 points.I'd rather we don't play these players and get them 100% fit first, we are losing with or without them anyway.
This game will be like last year when they literally destroyed us and every single outfield player had a shot against us. Unfortunately an embarrassment of that capacity will be done at OT this time, which will make it even worse.
I literally meant last year's game in December, which was also Mourinho's last match. The game you are talking about was this year.Really? I thought we played really well last year at home and was a last min tap in away from 3 points.
You're right, to be honest we probably could have nicked it through Chris Smalling in the last few minutes. The crowd were absolutely amazing last year.Really? I thought we played really well last year at home and was a last min tap in away from 3 points.
Well, we are home so there'd be much benefit talking about the same fixture last year. I think we'd surprise many here . We don't concede much and as far as i have watched, they have been very lucky to get 3 points in all their fixtures. Time luck turned for both the teams.I literally meant last year's game in December, which was also Mourinho's last match. The game you are talking about was this year.
I know as fans we have to support the club in good and bad times, but that is just wishful thinking.Well, we are home so there'd be much benefit talking about the same fixture last year. Oh it's time got combined United Liverpool first 11, this year they're especially fun.

I'm little optimistic about our chances when Martial and Pogba get on the field together. I want to see us how good(or bad) we are at full strength. That's the only thing holding me in the keep camp for now.I know as fans we have to support the club in good and bad times, but that is just wishful thinking.
It would be great for us to beat them and turn the season around, but in reality, the chances of that happening are the same as me winning the lottery. And I don't even participate in it.
Thank goodness you're not connected to the club in any way. Just wow.Isn't Pogba still wearing a bloody cast?!
I wouldn't risk him. This game for me is a guaranteed loss, I'd rather we kept him in cotton wool for the games that follow that are relatively winnable in comparison to this one.
We've had 2 games full strength. Beating Chelsea, and being unlucky to only draw at Wolves.I'm little optimistic about our chances when Martial and Pogba get on the field together. I want to see us how good(or bad) we are at full strength. That's the only thing holding me in the keep camp for now.

JustIf I was - as a full-blooded realist - I would certainly be trying to make some proactive, realistic changes to this sideshow.
You think we can win this? Just wow. We cannot even beat teams like Newcastle right now, stop believing in Santa Claus and try a bit of realism for once. I'm assuming you're an adult.
Yes, thats the sad part. We've had 2 games full strength. Beating Chelsea, and being unlucky to only draw at Wolves.
It's not quite as "woe is us" when we actually have the best team out. It's just how rarely we do!
Agreed.Thank goodness you're not connected to the club in any way. Just wow.
Let's see if they're laughing so much when we become the first team to take points off them.
It's how football works!
That’s just Sky Sports for you. Usually, they at least try to stick a few players from the weaker opposition in such as Maguire for Matip or McTominay for Windjalum - but they’re so far up Liverpool’s arse they’re loving the opportunity to ridicule us. feck emTweet

This might upset some people but Matip has performed better than Maguire has over the last 12 months imo.Tweet

Not sure Jesse Lingard will be Allegri's cup of tea. Do they even drink tea in Italy?0:3, and they'll switch to second gear after 60 minutes. In my opinion we shouldn't risk Paul's long-term health in this match, let him recover properly. There's nothing a half fit player (even one of PP's class) can do against Liverpool right now. Just take the inevitable beating, sack Ole and let Allegri start building the team around our best player.
Love this team. Looking good on paper. Lingard is definitely the least dirty shirt compared to Mata/Pereira/Fred. At least Lingard can run headlessly, provide energy! Hopefully Pogba, Rashford and James to provide one magic or two and Martial nick his one or two chance. Our back four must be very solid. DDG to step up his game finger crossed. If they're all fit for this then I'm cautiously optimistic tbh. Might be a blinkered belief but I genuinely do think when all are fit, we can be pretty good and definitely top 4 level. The problem is we have no depth whatsoever (which isn't the problem if they're all back actually!). Anyway, expecting/hoping for this... Obviously not thrilled about Lingard, but such is our squad. Would put Pogba as the most advanced midfielder if Fred was in any way decent, but this way we can play on the counter with all the pace.
Rashford - Martial - James
Pogba - McTominay - Lingard
Shaw - Maguire - Lindelof - Wan Bissaka
De Gea
Nope.Jose struck fear into Klopp, his rigid tactics had Jurgens number. Absolutely no reason to fear a manager without tactics in general.Beginning to get the same feeling.
Klopps cowardly approach to games at the OT is woefully understated.
Last year we were dropping like flies, & basically down to 10 men with Rashford on 1 leg; he bottled it.
Sneaky feeling we’ll draw this, conceding in the second half after a goal from nothing in the first.
Well it'll serve them right if they get docked points for it then, and with this being their year as well....We're getting murdered
