Not surprised at wantaway Pogba not being fit. De Gea situation unfortunate.

But this injury problem at United right now is unprecedented and speaks to the desire within this squad.

It's not though, that's the problem, we have a giant injury crisis almost every season. Even under Fergie I remember we had to start Fletcher and Carrick at CB for a few games because we were so injury ravaged. The only reason Van Gaal played so many kids was because he was forced to because of all of our injuries. We are consistently on top of the injury lists every single season. This is far from unprecedented, we've had it worse before.

This is some crazy logic. If you break your leg, are you lacking in passion if you don't show up for manual work?

Is it? I'm sure there were numerous spells when LvG was the boss where we had 8/9 players missing, at one time we had 13/14 missing.

Not sure it's desire, more the club protecting their investments if the players get an injury, however minor.

Is this the first time you've watched us in two decades or something? Under Fergie we had annual defensive injury crises and was even worse under van Gaal.

At least we have a very good backup keeper. Pogba lost is bad for a chance at anything against Liverpool.

Now Pogba's out, any ideas of taking the game to them are long gone, so we'll have to set up like a lesser team away to a big team.
Fun.

If Pogba plays, he just gets used as a scapegoat by Ole's mates in the media anyway.

He's stuck in a useless side, under a laughable manager and was rushed back too quick to face fecking Rochdale.

He should wait until he's totally fit to return.

Ok, there missing, Romero, is still a top keeper, should have no worries with him in Goal. Pogba is still out, ok, he seems not at it anyway, so is he a big miss!

Martial back hopefully, Rashford looked on if for England let's hope he's on it on Sunday, AWB looks like he's fit as well, so it's not that bad. We still got a mediocre squad with 1 or 2 who could turn it on..

It's a bigger game for them than us, if we come out of it with anything is a plus. Bookies not giving us a hope, and were at Home!

I know we had some luck when Ole took over and we went on that run but my god how long do we have to suffer for the injuries to turn around?

If Martial is fit. I'll play 5 at the back 2 DM (McTomminay & Pereira) & 3 pace attackers. Hit them on counter.

Pogba and de Gea out for us while Alisson and Matip return for them. Fan-fecking-tastic.

I mean, let's be real here, with the way we are currently playing them being out won't make any difference. We even lost against Palace at home with both of them on the field.

If I was them I'd probably want to be "injured" for this game, too.

What.
This is against Liverpool our biggest rivals. This is a game to become a hero(s).
All the pressure is on them.
We will find out who are the real United players.

The way we play is effective vs top 6 than vs rest of them.

We're only slightly less shit with them in the team anyway so I'm not too bothered.

Team loses game shocker.

We’d get thrashed with them playing anyway most likely.

Pogba playing against Rochdale looked like a moronic decision at the time, and looks worse and worse as time has gone by. Awful management.

We're screwed. What's Pogba recovering from? A leg amputation?

The decision to play him at all, let alone the full 90 minutes against Rochdale appears brainless as ever.

We have injury problems every year. We just have an injury prone squad. You can put De Gea down as shit happens, but Martial regularly gets muscle injuries, Pogba regularly picks up knocks, our defenders have been injury prone for ages, lingard always gets niggling injuries... Rashford to his credit is one of the few who manages to stay fit. In fact the only reliable players fitness wise in our squad are:
  • Rashford
  • Mata
  • James?
  • Mctominay
  • Pereira
  • Young
  • Maguire
  • Lindelof not bad
  • Goalkeepers
Half of our team is injury prone, and half of this group that can stay fit arent even starters when everyone is fit.

A drubbing will be his end.
Could be his last match as Manager. Mr Solskjaer.

Team loses game shocker.
Pogba constantly kept giving away the ball that game and De Gea should have saved the winning goal from Palace. My point stands, yes injuries are having a bad impact but quite frankly with the way we are playing even with everyone fully fit I can't see much of a difference being made. The confidence is at an all time low and when you look at the players body language none of them even wants to be on the field. With or without Pogba and DDG we are going to get embarrassed against Liverpool.

We were dreadful against Arsenal and what's even funnier is that they were worse.

Top 6 records since Ole took over has been good. Way better than when we play against poor teams. Us having Pogba and DDG would definitely be useful in this case than against likes of Sheffield Utd or Crystal palace. That's what i was getting at.

None of our lot are real United players, sadly, as has now been proven over successive seasons (Maguire/James/AWB aside).

No surprised at Pogba not being fit given that Ole kept playing him hurt, including 90 minutes against Rochdale.
