Did you get an update on either?I think it won’t be anything we don’t know about. An update on Martial and AWB. Good to have one back.

3 months it is then10:06
De Gea latest
Don’t expect him to play but wasn’t as bad as feared, when I saw the game I thought that’s him out until next international break but it’s not as bad as feared.

Was just going to post that. He’s obsessed with that word.Culture, culture, culture, how many times does he say this word?
What culture? Culture of becoming a relegation fodder?
So with every presser he defends the decisions in the Summer window, says it was a plan all along and part of his vision yet there are still some around here that find all sorts of excuses for Ole when it comes to leaving the squad short or defending his shambolic run.10:06
Woodward backing
Well, of course it’s always.... I speak to Ed loads of times and we speak regularly and we’ve spoken so many times we do have a plan and we have made some decisions in the short-term would harm us but in the long-term would benefit us and that’s part of the plan, but results are always the main thing and we can move forward quicker with results and performances. I am sure we will get there. But there’s planning for the next transfer window and summer transfer window.
He says it almost as often as people ridiculously exaggerate on here about being relegation fodder.Culture, culture, culture, how many times does he say this word?

Reminds me of LVG and his "Philosophy".Was just going to post that. He’s obsessed with that word.
Better than LVG’s processhhh or Jose’s “ I zink”Was just going to post that. He’s obsessed with that word.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. Risking Pogba was complete stupidity but I do respect your opinion. It's just a pity that Ole won't be around to see his long term plan fan out but I suppose thinking that he could turn Martial and Rashford into a Van Persie he deserves everything he gets.Every decision Ole has taken has been the opposite of thinking of his own job he’s been short term pain for long term gain since day one.
. Especially at 'Peaks and Valleys' and 'Performance from the boys' ....Redcafe is so much fun.''Fine margins''
''We're getting there''
''peaks and valleys''
''Hopefully a performance from the boys''
''Everyone know what this feature means and what is expected of them.''
''We've got a great group of lads''
''We got the quality, now we need to start showing it on the pitch''
'It was never going to be easy''
Maybe Miles Jacobson will get inspired by these responses and add them to the press conference options on FM.
Again. They couldn't get the ones they wanted. How hard is that to understand?
You don't need a fortune teller to tell you his Press Conferences are full of empty talk and no action on the pitch. Most are fed up with them. Not even started and fecking moaning already
It is very difficult to find players who want to leave a club to join us and replace the ones we have.I refuse to believe there were no players available this summer that could have raised our standards [Players moved who are better than what we currently have]. If our vast scouting team & OgS can’t come up with players to improve our current shambles then they should leave based on that alone.
Worse than women bitching. Love to see him turn it around, but they would still have something to moan about. Have a good look at Woodward and the Glazers is what they should do. 100 million for a Rebuild wont get you much. 67million net spend. Not as much as I love to see you moaning bitching whinging crying before he has even sat down, that doesn't get boring on a weekly basis at all.
Oh wait..........
This is spot on. Been saying it for years now, with LVG, Jose & now Olé, the "give them time" argument can be given so much more credence if you can see a direction akin to Klopp. He took over in October, made 1 signing in January and had Rogers team playing with conviction, intent and purpose. The thing is almost immediately, and certainly after 29 games, you could see what Klopp was trying to do. You could see a style of Football emerging and a clear direction. I see none of that under Ole sadly.
Yeah mate, it is not great from the top down, everyone hates the Glazers and Woodward, wants them gone think everyone can agree on that.Worse than women bitching. Love to see him turn it around, but they would still have something to moan about. Have a good look at Woodward and the Glazers is what they should do. 100 million for a Rebuild wont get you much. 67million net spend.
That not what most of the press conferences are these days, boring questions followed by boring answers. No manager worth his salt gives away tactics or stories from the dressing room, all just generalised answers. You don't need a fortune teller to tell you his Press Conferences are full of empty talk and no action on the pitch. Most are fed up with them.
Maybe because fans of other clubs see actual tactics and style of play applied on the pitch, unlike us who watch dogshite performance twice a week. That not what most of the press conferences are these days, boring questions followed by boring answers. Pretty much guarantee other fans don't whing bitch and moan about them like our fans do
Was on the page to read his comments not yours mate, and as you do when you scroll down you read everyone's comments.Well you don't actually need to read my comments if they bore you, but as a United fan we all have to watch the boring football been presented to us.
That is the difference mate.
So after he has sat down and delivered his press conference, what positives do you take from it?
As said above, imo he needs more than one window and a bit of luck injury wise not half his side out. He may well fall on his face but give him another window or two, you put a top class CF, RW and CM in that side I think you will see a totally different style of play.Maybe because fans of other clubs see actual tactics and style of play applied on the pitch, unlike us who watch dogshite performance twice a week.
"And I would've gotten away with trying to make it difficult for the opposition team too... if it wasn't for you meddling 'kneejerk' fans!"Come on Moyes, reveal yourself. It is not funny anymore
You're free to have your opinion of course but you need to understand there's a reason many fans are extremely negative so I don't get complaining about it. Check the results, performance and league position and you'll find the reason for the negativity from the fans, and I think it's a pretty strong reason too. They're entitled to their opinion as much as you're to yours. As said above, imo he needs more than one window and a bit of luck injury wise not half his side out. This is also my issue, I can't really see what he is trying to achieve. So he has a better record after 29 games than Klopp.

Not saying they ain't entitled to their opinion, no issue with that at all and I aint into forcing my opinion on people but every week before he has even had his conference people or moaning about what will be said, come on.You're free to have your opinion of course but you need to understand there's a reason many fans are extremely negative so I don't get complaining about it. Football has changed from the 80s and 90s.Not saying they ain't entitled to their opinion, no issue with that at all and I aint into forcing my opinion on people but every week before he has even had his conference people or moaning about what will be said, come on.
Results, performances have been shocking, no quick fix here at all as the squad is just nowhere near good enough, Ole seems to be the only manager who has realised this and has the balls to do something about it.
Imagine if you lot were about in the late 80s under Fergie ha forget the 90s you would have had him ran out of the club after 10 months never mind 4 years before he won his first trophy.
Modern fans for you though, no time for long term plans all short term so you can rant on twitter 247
Not once said that the negativity is from the results only, and if you can't see the long term plan that he is trying to implement then all good, a lot of our fans can see long term what he is trying to achieve, as in first summer sort the back line out, which he has done.Football has changed from the 80s and 90s.
And fans would have been more patient if there was actual style of play being applied on the pitch. The problem is there hasn't been. We look awful tactically, and let's be honest, the positive delusional quotes are fun when the results are decent but they grew up very quickly if the performance and results are crap. You can't be watching awful tactics, crap performance, and getting shocking results while your manager is telling you everything is fine and it's a long plan. These quotes start to annoying rather than comforting.
The non existent of tactics and style is a far bigger problem than losing and that's why the majority of fans are moaning. We can't actually see any long term plan being applied anywhere near the pitch. Of course if you see some plan you're fine to be patient with him, but I can't and many can't too, hence the negativity. The notion that we're negative about the results only is simply wrong.
The style of play has been shocking since the end of last season when we won 2 in 12 and it's still persisting till now. It's not like we were even on great run prior to these injuries this season anyway. We got 5 points out of our first 12 and the majority of the team was still around. The last time we had a full lineup, we got outplayed by Hodgson's Crystal Palace on our own turf. Not once said that the negativity is from the results only, and if you can't see the long term plan that he is trying to implement then all good, a lot of our fans can see long term what he is trying to achieve, as in first summer sort the back line out, which he has done.
He has identified the players that need to be moved on, he has identified that the mentality the culture needs to change, he has moved away from buying a sponsors dream signing on 300k a week to young hungry energetic players who want to play for Man United, which 90% of fans have been crying out for.
Yes the style at the moment is shocking and it is hard to see what he is trying to do, he has had his full side for two/three games max this season and at the minute it is decimated, anyone would struggle losing the amount of players we have.
If once they are all back it does not improve and certainly after another window or two then yeah I agree.
A lot of fans chose not to see the long term plan he is trying to put in place due to their agenda against Ole, whereas a lot of fans who are hating the football can see what he is trying to do.
No shit football has moved on, the unfortunate thing is so have fans, gone from being working class, beer drinking football loving people to tourists at games with half and half scarves, massive cameras, live fan blogs during games, no singing no atmosphere and recording everything for social media.
Give me fans of the 80s and 90s any fecking day lad
Are you here under duress? The Caf is worse than RAWK these days , whinging cnuts .
What are you even referring to here? Mate no offence but it seems like you are just making up shit to respond to, who is blaming the fans for the club being 12th?The style of play has been shocking since the end of last season when we won 2 in 12 and it's still persisting till now. It's not like we were even on great run prior to these injuries this season anyway. We got 5 points out of our first 12 and the majority of the team was still around. The last time we had a full lineup, we got outplayed by Hodgson's Crystal Palace on our own turf.
We're not choosing to see the long term plan. We can't actually see it. As I said if you see he's planning for something then it's your opinion, but I and many others can't. We can't see any ideas being implemented in our play, and we can't see what he's planning to do in the marker after the last disastrous summer. That's a far bigger problem than anything else.
Honestly very weird to blame the fans for anything happening re the club. I'm sure that fans have nothing to do with the fact we're in 7th year post SAF with us finishing top 8 this season being an achievement.
Was on the page to read his comments not yours mate, and as you do when you scroll down you read everyone's comments.
Yeah we all have to watch the boring football being served up, part and parcel of it, take the good with the bad.
What positives do I take from his press conferences, well if you go through the managers since Fergie:
Jose - Hated his conferences, forever moaning and whinging, looked depressed and unhappy, having a pop at players 24/7 (especially bulling Luke Shaw which was out of order), during his time/conferences he had half of Manchester hitting the bottle at 8am.
LVG - Have to say he cracked me up, nutcase and his were always entertaining.
Moyes - "We aspire to be like Man City" even though we won the league by 11 points the year before, it was like listening to Krusty the Clown for 10 months.
Ole - Finally sounds like we actually have a plan in place, young, hungry, pacey players who want to play for the shirt. He comes across like he knows the type of player he wants and that he wants to attack and get away from repetitive possession based football. I accept that we are not seeing this at the moment and if it does not improve by Xmas he is more than likely to be sacked which is fine as he can't have any complaints, but feck me it is nice to hear him say things like "ok we are light at the minute but those players needed to leave as they did not want to play for the shirt, be at the club, so of you go" and "yes I want to give the academy players a chance, I want to change the structure and culture at the club which has been very wrong for a long time", this is all needed as it has been nothing short of disgraceful, the positives I take are that he seems to understand what is wrong, and he is slowly trying to change that.
At the very least the next manager will have a far better foundation/platform to work with than what Ole has had, but those are the positives that I take from Ole's press conferences that finally we have a manager who actually can see what the feck is wrong with the club and the squad and he is trying to change that.
Mentality
Culture
Rid Deadwood
Type of player (want to play for the shirt not the pay packet)
Style of Play (which we are yet to see but hopefully with another window or two we may, fingers crossed)
Youth being given a chance (just look at Tuanzebe, arguably should be starting every week now)
That's my two cents anyway
I do agree that it would be refreshing to hear him say we have been shit and our attacking play has been woeful, agree with you on that.My post didn't actually question what he is doing, but its the same thing over and over again.
It would be refreshing to see him accepting that we played badly in a few games because it doesn't get the fans confident if he thinks we played well with no shot on target.
I do agree that the club is moving in the right direction, and I am the first to argue to posters who say why did we let Herrera, Sanchez, Fellaini, Lukaku go because we do not need them players in our team.
Youth been given a chance? I don't fully agree with this because Tuanzebe would have been given a chance by any manager at United given our CB positions. He hasn't given Greenwood the chance to play in his preffered position. Gomes and Chong I don't think they are good enough anyway.
