Not sure how you can blame Ed on this one. You don't need world class players to beat Partizan. I would say all top 10 teams in the premier league would easily beat them. If Ole can't put out a team that can beat these guys, its all on him.

I understand this but the big major issue is we have to use the second string side in the Europa League. Because we didn’t sign enough players we are having to use a mash of players who really aren’t good enough and youngsters with no first team experience.

In an atmosphere like this it always smells trouble.

We've been fine controlling the play in longer patches against a hostile crowd. The players have ample opportunities to get at Partizan as they transition, but they haven't shown the quality to do so yet. That's not related to the formation, but the players in it. Lingard and Mata seem pretty shite so far.
