"The last time I came to Emirates Stadium with another team, or actually all the time, We were winning or at least not losing. I repeat, at least not losing. I saw the bench always and I repeat, I saw the bench ALWAYS with respect. ALWAYS with respect. And what did I see? players giggling and looking at their phones, not caring about the match.

And zen I saw a long coat with no pocket? exactly! No discipline, no commando. This happened again today. When I brought players I expect them to change the rhythm of the match. But They did not care. Here They giggle again, here the long coat again, no respect again. That is football heritage. But go ahead and attack me, in Portugal We use to-to-to .. say (how do you say it?) every wall is a door. Every wall is a door. Respect, respect, respect".

Funny how no Bayern fan wants him at their club. I honestly think he'll win them the CL in 2 years time if he goes there. Something about it just feels right.

Half of me really wants this to happen as I think Mou is a dangerously toxic person and gets more so as he gets older and watching that happen at Arsenal would be funny.

But I worry that his methods could work well there. Arsenal's attack is excellent, he can effectively leave them to get on with it, while he goes to work on their defence and organisation, if he gets that right they could become a potent force. Maybe you'll be lucky and he'll buy Bailley off you to shore up their defence.

That's a bit harsh, man.

I'm Mancunian and go to games when possible (which, sadly, is quite rare at the moment), but I don't think I - or anyone else from Manchester - is a better fan than a foreign one. We all love the club in the end. :)

Don't misunderstand me, it's not the being based abroad that's any sort of problem.
It's when they start telling the people who actually go to the games what to do.

He would destroy that team for years. He’s was only good with a team that had unlimited funds like Madrid, Chelsea ect. united had the funds but he was past it by then and he and the club fecked themselves for years. I don’t mind Arsenal at all and would hate to see that club ruined by that arrogant prick.
Ozil, Di Maria, Khedira, Coentrao, Modric were "his" big signings at real madrid. Over 3 years. None of them was exceptionally expensive

He also did wonders with Porto and Inter and again, didn't have to spend loads for it

If anything i'd say it's the other way around; giving him too much cash(and power to decide what to do with it) is the main problem with him

I think so as well. In terms of playing style he's not too dissimilar to Heynckes, but would need the fans and the playerd behind him. And I don't see the fans keen on it.

Mourinho ain't going anywhere. Arsenal fans would fume with his hiring and Bayern fans clearly do not want a defensive manager, and Spurs are not paying an amount ridiculous of money for a manager when they refuse to do the same with some of their players.

The man Arsenal needs is Rodgers or a upcoming coach in that ilk, not some washed up dinosaur.

Any club that employs Jose smacks of desperation. It did with United and if this made up story came true, it would for Arse. Difference is, Arse won't spend the money we did and the squad starts off from a much weaker position. He'll do alright for a couple of seasons, then deliberately implode to get his big payoff.

That Arsenal squad isn't as bad as people make out. Should be doing a lot better.

Imagine!

They'll have gone full circle back to George Graham if this happens.

If Jose manages to restore them, his legacy will have one huge chapter upgrade.

Oh, and @oneniltothearsenal I'm sure you are praying for this to happen!:angel:
 If anything could turn me into a temporary United fan ...

Didn't the twit Mark Ogden write about how we should be rebuilding like Arsenal when they signed Emery and had a good run going..

Also when they tweeted "Unai"at the Wheel" it was the beginning of the end..The cursed chant..

Anyway Mourinho to Arsenal is just Unthinkable!!

He would not get on with the micromanaging Bayern hierarchy at all.

My opinion also. In Porto he had some input at transfer market, but not total control. Porto did hired some of his wishes like Derlei, Nuno Valente and Benny McCarthy, but most of the transfers were done by Porto's department of football.

At Inter as we can check by interviews he also had little input, since none of his "wished" players were hired: he wanted Carvalho, they got him Lúcio. He wanted Deco, they got him Sneijder.
Just because you're a good manager doesn't make you a good scout. Scouting has much more than watching talent. You must take in consideration if the player strengths and weaknesses would fit in the squad.

Within a few weeks Mourinho has been the favorite for getting the job at Tottenham, Arsenal, Bayern, Dortmund, Real Madrid an I think PSG.

It’s not surprising, he’s always going to be in demand.
More like his agent is desperately putting his name out there knowing it'll be unlikely any big team wants him after his embarrassing stint at United.

Most of that is probably just lazy "journalists" making up stuff though.
The PSG links come from Don Balon and le10sport, two of the worst sources out there.

Yeah, many clubs changed managers and few of the manager’s job wasn’t safe but still Jose is unemployed. Some desperate club will hire him though, just like we did.

the way he left Chelsea and United really ended any chance of him getting big. Same results and respectful exit he would be employed by now. Instead when things started to go bad he really decided to bring everyone with him out of spite. Even though I’m not United fan I couldn’t believe when he benched Lukaku one game and afterwards said people always say why Lukaku, that’s why

Doesn't make any sense. Mourinho is better off waiting for the PSG / Bayern / Madrid jobs to open up

It looks like people are still biased to him. He actually is judged for things that does every manager (Guardiola, Klopp...) but those are getting away with it, although Mourinho is constantly critisized and acused of doing whatever he does. That's a really toxic thing from fans.

No wenger inherited a great defence from Graham and when that defence was past it wenger never built another great defence
Totally untrue. Arsenal's 2001/2 squad which went unbeaten away had about 5 players from previous managers. Their 2003/4 invincibles squad had only three players (Keown, Bergkamp and Parlour) from previous managers, of which only Parlour was signed by Graham and the rest of the squad apart from Keown and Bergkamp were Wenger's signings.
