Stop with this bollocks. Just because many (like myself) think Ole isn’t the right man doesn’t mean we want us to lose. I enjoyed the game & wanted us to win of course. Stop spouting crap to suit your agenda
In this very thread, on the first page no less, someone said this is the game that ended United season and that he's not happy with the win.

Good game and result. Rashford was immense, unlucky not to be on a hattrick. DDG was very good.

Greenwood was unusually quiet today. James was unlucky not to score from at least one of his shots. Fred and McT did well.

Overall the game was very enjoyable.

Say what you want about Ole as a manager (I don't think he should've ever got the job but that's for another time) but thank goodness we got rid of Mourinho. I had war flashbacks watching that shite from Spurs. So so bad. What a truly rubbish manager he is now
Yup, deep in the 2nd half they were mostly all in their half.

Exactly, it's not the first time he's gotten a result against big clubs.
It will now be a lot more bearable when we get spanked by City though. At least we ruined Mourinho's return, that's something that will keep me happy whatever happens on the weekend.

McTominay makes a huge difference to the team. Hopefully he stays fit now. Lindelof had his best game of the season and I thought Fred played well also. Rashford obviously one of Uniteds stand out players also, loved his work rate and leadership. Jose winking at the camera before the game wasn't doing it at full time
Jose was super confident before the game. Had his post match comments already rehearsed

Good performance over 90.

McTominay played well, but his passing was loose at times.

Can we translate this to games against teams like Sheffield and Villa now please.
Not if we have 3 of our 4 midfielders out injured like we did when we last played those two teams.

Why do people find this so hard to grasp?

Can we have Ole manage all of our big games? Another great result against the top 6. Bring on City!

Rashford was unplayable. Shame he didn’t get hattrick. McT and Fred great and AWB unbeatable.

Thought the rule on handball leading to goal was black and white ? Worryingly not the case against us

So many people predicting Tottenham win, so many not able to enjoy the win because our manager is not a fancy name for them...
Come on people, we outplayed Spurs under the manager we never should have had, and we showed glimpses of the United way!
Can't you be happy about it!?

We still boss the big games, we're still relevant, and we can only improve! Let's enjoy this!

Glory, glory Man.Utd!

Well done Ole. Just need to keep that up for the next 23 or so games and we will be just fine.

A midfielder in January is so obviously needed... who we rely so much on Scott Mctominay so much is amazing.

I don’t think that comment was addressed at you, in particular. The culprits recognise themselves and there are a couple of them right on the first page.

Fun game to watch.

Fred was my MotM, Rashford was 1b taking and making shots, but I'm a fan of what Fred does. McT, who looked 100% tonight, lets Fred be Fred and they're really clicking. Would love to see Pogba in front of them.

Rashford did well, he's getting aggressive and I like that. His shots were good, even the misses. Greenwood was quiet, but as a threat in the middle, he has to be accounted for and that keeps the opposition honest. James was also quiet for long stretches, hoping that wasn't a result of the early collision with the Recycled One, but he does defensive work that I like.

I would still rather see Williams instead of Young, and Shaw if that's still not viable. Looks like Ole's easing Shaw back into things. That said, the back line did OK. Some tight moments for sure, and that goal was frustrating, but... we won. Each made some good plays, Lindelof raised his game a bit, AWB made some nice tackles.

DeGea made the saves he should have.

Ole set things up well enough and they executed, for the most part. We played 90+ minutes without getting gassed, and only two substitutions. I thought we pushed hard, particularly for most the first half, and we finished well. Didn't give up the equalizer, which I suspect we were all waiting for.

Yeah, so I didn't say I wanted United to lose. Consequences after the game are quite clear though. It's not going to suddenly change after a year. With someone else, it might.

The last 10 weren't too pleasant, classic squeaky bum time but glad we toughed it out because I had images of Mou running down the touchline again.

Fantastic performance from the lads. What we lacked in technical ability we made up for with effort and energy.

Add a bit more quality to the effort and we’ll be cooking on gas.

Great controlling win. A bit of squeaky bum time at the end and really should have killed it off by scoring the break away goal.

If you take off the blinkers you'll see that we created fkall as per usual. We didn't really trouble them much even though we were dominant. Oh well a win is a win!!

Fred!!!!!!!!!! Bloody immense!!!
Not quite true, we had 12 shots of which 7 on target and could easily have scored three or four in that first half during our period of dominance, if only we were more clinical.

The result certainly surprised me.
God how wrong I was with my prediction before the game, and I'm so glad I was wrong! Fantastic performance, especially from Fred and Rashford. What makes the win a lot tastier is the fact that we beat a superior Mouirnho team.

Ole got the tactics right this time.
Our problem is more about intensity than anything else. When we play a top side the mentality is right and we've seen enough examples now to argue that Ole and his staff are not necessarily out of their depth tactically at this level.

The challenge is getting the team to come out every week and win the battles.

Fred when he's on his day is such a fun player. Brilliant game from the Brazilian.

Scott McTominay has emerged as the glue that holds this midfield together, more stand out performances this season than any other player. Calm, composed, the engine that make the train move forward. In the abscence of Pogba, McTominay has emerged as a potential 10 year midfield engine for the club.

Marcus Rashford is having the season of his life thus far. 12 goals in all competitions, 1 goal shy of his all time high and now scores as much as Agüero on a far worse team on paper. Just absolutely awesome to see the strides he's taken, despite his early season snakebitten shenanigans.

Everyone had good games today, probably season best for Lingard, he'll feel good about that one. Even Ashley Young, even if he made a couple personal mistakes. You just cant have high pressing and retain the ball as much as we did, without everyone being on their game.

We got a real shot at doing some damage to Manchester City with their defense far less impressive than we are used to. No doubt this win gives Ole some breathing room.

All in all, fantastic day to be a Manchester United fan, and the home crowd singing is still the best sound in football

53% of people want Ole out according to the poll. Yet majority of posts on here are simply enjoying the great performance and win. If your point was correct there would be more then one post complaining about the win. Instead there’s more people complaining about people complaining about the win because they want Ole out then there are actually Ole out people complaining about the win.

I had a full day meeting, didn't want to record because I thought it would jinx the game, and wasn't confident so didn't care... but then we won. Guys, I need to watch that game, when is the video section updated?!?

Greenwood very good movement just never picked out. No words for Rashford, he was brilliant. He's coming of age and it's great to see. Fred also fantastic. Mctominany a little rusty but shows he is quality.

Really loved how hard the players were passing the ball to each other. Reminded me of the 2008 onwards era. Those guys used to really put some zip in their passes.

Ole needs two more windows. When we are good we are really good. I hope he gets the chance to get a few more bodies in.

The game that ended United's season. Not getting rid of him now, but as we all know it counts for absolutely nothing.

And no, the 5th win of the season is not supposed to make me happy.
Whelp, almost made it a page before the negativity was interjected. Well done getting your shit comment in so quickly.

Enjoyed that immensely. Rashford was on fire tonight.
Spurs were really poor though. I think this group of players peaked last year and is on the decline for them.

He'd have been faux humble in that way where he says he's not the story, so that could have become the story.
I don’t think so, I think he would have gone all in, in a similar way to how he would be with Wenger.

Very pleasing performance by many players.

McSauceintor gave the team a lift even though there was some rustiness and Rashford was fantastic again. Lindelof did really well popping up all over and De Gea was a safe pair of hands tonight.

One thing you can say of late is we're scoring more , having lots more shots on target.

Spurs have a lot of midfielders, but apart from Eriksen I couldn't say they have top midfielders. The ones who are there have to fight and work and they were outfought and outworked by McTominay and especially Fred who was excellent.

Haha Mourinho - correct about Rashford playing from the left. He kept putting Martial there though too....
