Brugge have improved since the last time we played. Think Memphis got a long range goal and overall was just a stroll.

Good draw for Liverpool. Atletico aren't the beast they used to be. And I think they struggle more against the attacking teams anyway. The big matches they've lost in recent times I think we're against Barcelona, Madrid and City. Atletico will I imagine play into their hands.

Chelsea have a terrible draw given Bayern's CL form. They'll have done an incredible job to get through that.

Madrid Vs City definitely the draw of the round. Madrid at home will probably show a lot of intensity and belief but I fancy City's chances as long as they don't defend like clowns (which without Laporte isn't a given). Benzema performing much better than Aguero could also be a factor when it comes to a knockout tie

Think that'll be close to impossible, plus you'd need to have a ST or something similar as from before a certain date. I remember a few mates of me wanted to get tickets to the CL group stage and even that didn't work (while it did last season).

They've got a good chance against Utd though, interesting tie.
A friend of mine's father in law is a sponsor. He might be able to provide some tickets, he has been able too for bigger matches in Belgium before. This might me a bit of a stretch though :)

Atletico are a very limited team with a big lack of offensive talent. Nothing to do with the best years of Simeone's team this past decade.

Liverpool have nothing to fear.
Granted, I never watch La Liga anymore, but I just have this feeling that Simeone’s playing style will be poison for Klopp.

Worst draw ?
You can play your reserve team in the PL now , leading upto the this game.
Of course we can’t. And besides, even if we could, Atletico are still the last team I wanted us to face as I think Klopp won’t like Simeone’s style one bit.

We got the easiest draw out of the portuguese teams even though we were the only unseeded. Still think we're going out though but maybe we can make a run in this competition given we have literally nothing else to play for all season

If Leipzig would play Spurs today, Leipzig would 'batter' them. But i don't know if they keep their form until february and how well Spurs will improve until then.

On paper Spurs have obviously a much better squad but in reality Leipzig are playing much better than them this season so far.

Inter and Wolves are the most difficult teams out of the whole draw. We should be cruising every other tie.
Roma and Leverkusen would be tough aswell. Would say Salzburg aswell but they're going to lose Haaland in January so that will weaken them in the short term.

It'll be a challenge for sure. But I think this Atletico team has completed their cycle and are in a rebuild phase. So they don't offer the threat that they otherwise would. On the night anything can happen, but like I said, this isn't their best phase. They aren't the machine they were 2/3 years back.

Atletico aren't what they used to be, they'll struggle to finish top 4 in La Liga this season.

They're built for these games though, Liverpool are better than them but Atleti are as dangerous of a team as you can get in this format.

Nice! We sometimes used to get tickets a long time ago when my father worked for Gemeentekrediet and Dexia and they were sponsoring them, but that stopped a while ago.

Good draw that for us.

The CL draw is crazy though. I expect City to flop again in Europe against Madrid, and BVB will get past Paris imo. Liverpool would have a tough time against Atletico but will eventually get past them I believe, and with Chelsea crap record against big teams this season I can see Bayern getting through.

Alt Madrid aren't a patch on recent years. 5th in la liga and lucky they didn't drop into the Europa league. I won't be surprised if Liverpool win both legs by a bit to spare.

Real Madrid have found their mojo back under Zidane. With City out of the title race its a real pressure game for Pep who probably needs to deliver CL to avoid the sack.

Good draw for the British sides in the Europa, all should progress.

State of people worried about playing fecking Brugge. If we can’t beat them we may as well pack up and go home.

I'm pretty baffled about the general perception of Real here. What have they accomplished so far to justify all the praise?
Right now they are a badly balanced assembly of young talents and washed up Superstars with too much success under their bellies to give a feck.
I think City is going to walk this.

My prediction for last 16 in the Europa draw....
Wolves, Wolfsburg, Basel, AZ, Celtic, Arsenal, Leverkusen, Sevilla, Roma, Sporting, Rangers, Ajax, Frankfurt, Inter, Benfica, Manchester United.

Potentially some good ties there...

I didn't say Madrid are great, I said I expect City to flop it.

Mmm, could be tough, but I haven't seen Atletico in some time, so hopefully talk of them being less good works for us. Spurs should be pleased with that draw. City or Madrid? No idea, should be a tasty tie.

Bruge (the city) is a lovely place, so hopefully the stadium will be as nice.

Tricky game for Utd. Brugge is a confident team, who deservedly won a point at Madrid. Also last time Utd played a Belgian team (Anderlecht) they needed extra time to beat them.
I think Brugge will have ball possession while Utd must hope Rashford is up for it.

Caution is the magic word. Brugge is a better team than the likes of Everton, Villa and Seffield Utd. 3 teams we failed to beat. I reckon they're on par with AZ who we only seemingly beat easy. In reality it was done in a freak 2O min spell. Never forget that those guys outplayed us for the entire first half.
Brugge is the EPL would play for a top 8 placing so this is not going to be easy.

Not been keeping up with European football as much this season, I hope one of Europe's elite have got their act together, not sure I could stomach watching Liverpool win it again.

Brugge are a good team. Not so easy draw, there were definitely better options for us. But we should win it, no excuses here.

Every team we drew last time we played in the Europa League we were told to worry about and we won it without any trouble really.

Yep. We were arrogant if we didnt treat every EL opposition as if they were Brazil 70

I understand you're trying to ridicule me but that's okay, I'm going to answer that straightforward anyway. I think they are almost equal to Spurs. Obviously City is miles better and we only beat them because Pep is too stubborn to change tactics, he only knows one way to play and Utd had the perfect day that day. Brugge won't open up this much, they will be organized while still be a threat in attack. They only really struggled vs PSG but that team is near perfection. Real had a tough game or two against them.

Long overdue that City got a tough draw although I’m sure Bluemoon is managing to turn it into an agenda against the club.

This is true, especially the Ajax final when I was worried we were up against some sensational team. Pundits were telling us how dangerous they were.

And then we played them and it was the easiest cup final I think we've ever had.
