Why would be pay 76m when he reportedly has a 20m release clause?
Can't see us buying him and then loaning him back. Would be incredibly stupid business, even if he costs 20m.
We will spend that much is we include Raoila fees tbh.

I don't know some say that the 20m RC comes into effect next summer.

The same club or shared headquarters point is that there will be, quite obviously, an internal fast track to leipzig before entertaining any offer from the outside, which is exactly how red bull operates in any given sport they’re in.

He knows what he wants to do, he knows what he's gonna do

Why would he be randomly signing another clubs shirt, especially with all the media rumours around him? seems like he's signing one ahead of time for a sponsor or something.

I really don’t like John Arne Riise, but he’s the first Norwegian football “expert” I’ve seen, who actually advises Haaland to drop the next development step, and rather go straight to the PL, according to Dagbladet. (second biggest newspaper)

Also illegal. Red Bull has already been slapped by UEFA for this in the past and is now forced to play fair with everyone else. If we trigger the release clause, they can't just ship him off to Leipzig.

Funnily enough I’m beginning to think we’ll offload Pogba in January and we’ll sign Sancho & Halaand with the £.

Sounds ridiculous but beginning to justify it in my head. I am half drunk though.

He's wearing the same clothes as in this picture. Definitely from today then.
God damn I love transfer sagas! the cryptic tweet, the hidden messages, the will he won't he! It's damn exciting.

Thank god he wasn't signing a Dortmund shirt :D

Obviously I would love both but if ship Pogba off in Jan and fail to sign a midfielder then I'd be livid.

On Haaland, I don't think him signing the shirt means he's coming here as I'm pretty certain he would probably sign any shirt someone asked him to sign. The main thing that interests me is why the guy giving him the shirt, selected that particular shirt? Is it because he thinks we're signing him or what?

Isn't it a photoshopped Salzburg shirt?
Looks like it could be. Whats the bit around the wrist of the top guy holding the shirt? Can't tell if he has something in his hand or not.

Edit: someone on twitter said it's a Topps CL card. It does not look like it's Haaland's card but it's hard to tell.

Dag Langerød, the chief editor (?) of the scandinavian supporter club, says that when he checked his sources about Haaland yesterday, the info he got back was that the transfer was nearly done and he will probably end up at Manchester United.
He also clearly states not to count the chickens before the eggs is hatched, as he needs more sources to feel completely sure about this.

If it was a photoshopped Salzburg shirt, then the real photo will surface soon enough.
