Premier League Festive Season

The title is long gone anyway.

Just enjoy watching City look shite, it's not happened too often recently.
Agreed. It’s small crumbs of comfort but let’s just have a good laugh at the bloo pricks who were lauded as the best ever Premier League side last season. Wankers.

I wasn't sure whether I want Wolves to win here because they'd go above us but if Citeh go into meltdown, it might open up another top 4 slot. It's also hilarious to see them losing from 0-2 up.

More like another top 4 spot for Wolves to take advantage off, while United shit the bed just at the thought.

No idea why so many people wanted Wolves to win tonight considering they have went above us.

Fecking Sarri they are so negative not even Ronnie can s........... oooooops....... wrong rant in wrong thread :D

the fecking dippers are going to win this by march, fml....feck all of our lives.
Them winning it last year would've more. I''ve come to a weird acceptance that when they do win it; It'll be more "Oh they've won it... meh" rather than "Sh*t they''ve won it, FML. I'm going to curl up in a darkened room for the Summer"

Wolves will be in tatters once the European fixtures start again. Don't see them making top 4.

I agree we won't take advantage but it doesn't mean it's better for our top 4 hopes. We'll need to go above Chelsea anyway, so Wolves are irrelevant in this scenario.

Bloody hell, Man City are closer to United in the table than they are to Liverpool...madness

Whatever helps you guys sleep at night. I'll never enjoy seeing Liverpool in such a strong position.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. I'll always enjoy city losing in a match that never had any effect on the title race anyways.

Heck it's better them winning this way than on a last minute goal or last matchday win or something.

Makes it easier to accept.

Yeah definitely.

I decided at the start of the season I was done hoping City would win to stop Liverpool, it was fecking miserable having to "cheer" City. So i've just enjoyed watching City lose each time this season whilst ignoring Liverpool.

It was always a joke to see certain pundits comparing them next to our 99 and 08 teams.

And of course that everybody in English football should be 'grateful' to guardiola for coming and transforming the game. Spend a billion, most of it on defenders and not have a clue what to do when he's found out. That's why Ferguson is simply leagues and leagues ahead of him. Always reinvented his team or style to see off challenges.

Next up:
Liverpool v Wolves
Man City v Sheffield Utd
Arsenal v Chelsea

If only we had beaten Watford, we could have possibly been in 4th if we beat Burnley.

Just shows how they miss Laporte and Kompany going. It was crazy not getting a CB in.

Title race was over as soon as Laporte out for months.

With him it'd be much closer.

Liverpool would still be ahead though, City given no chance this year.

Yeah. This isn't happening.

Wolves are 2 points off 4th place after 19 matches.

We are behind fecking Wolves.

And people defend and make excuses for OGS.
