It is thought that Sancho, 19, is intrigued by the prospect of moving to Spain, but he would be interested in talking to United too.
Of course he would be interested (Sancho), any player who joined United will become a global superstar overnight.

United will always be an attraction...unless we have 30 years drought of titles. That could happen.

But they can control which team's offers they accept.

There are two sides to a transfer. The club side and the player side. It's not as simple as you realise.
Yes but that's makes sense only if he wants to play here.

Is there nobody else concerned about his rumoured attitude issues? :nervous:
Come on, this is Manchester United.

Players with poor attitudes get stories spread about how nice they are and lazy players get threads about how hardworking they are.

Sancho will be fine

If Sancho's family is from West London they probably support QPR or Fulham.
Nailed on for Chelsea from the rumours I've heard, seems unlikely to me that United will get him.

Using United as one of the suitor, will get him much better deal with whoever he ends up with.

For me, yes. I’m put off by Eriksen because he’s underperforming and sulking when his team need his help. I’m just hoping in Sancho’s case his talent overshines these reports. Despite all these issues with the manager he’s still playing well so that’s something.

All good players have a bit of a chip on their shoulder.

do you think messi / Ronaldo are easy to manage?

as long as he does the goods on the pitch he will be fine.

He's obviously a player I hope we get but given the form of James and Greenwood from the right it really won't be the end of the world if we don't get him

A CM and No 10 is certainly more of a priority (not that you say no to Sancho if he's available and willing to join of course)

I think he's still crucial. James has done nothing to change that. Different stratosphere of talents. Midfield is obviously also important. But can't be a reason for the club not to strengthen attack which has been weak for years.

No. Neither Mount or CHO is a right winger.

Sancho would replace Willian and Pedro (both out of contract at the end of the season).
Think Willian stays myself, but Pedro i can see going, even in next 3-4 weeks. The issue i have with the "but they have CHO" argument is, simply, Sancho is better. I dont see him moving in January, even though it'd be a very good signing, but i could see a Pulisic type scenario

With the wages they've given CHO now though, he'd be a pretty expensive bench warmer, and potentially blocking his development when so much has been invested? Seems daft.

Different positions. If we signed a left winger it would block CHOs development. If we sign Sancho it will be a long term replacement for Willian.

As for wages, we gave Danny Drinkwater more, we pay everyone stupid money!

It's not beyond the realm of possibility that we gave Dortmund a free run at Haaland as part of the negotiation for Sancho. This sort of tactic has been used before.
No, that makes no sense. A potential future transfer of Sancho and our new player Haaland have nothing to do with each other.

To be honest - Sancho's already at Dortmund & Dortmund is regarded as a stepping stone whilst United are not.

Maybe Haaland uses Dortmund as a stepping stone to United in a few years time. Hopefully we will have signed Sancho by then as well
Maybe - we might have a better manager then or maybe even Ole gets top 4 this season and has settled down quite well by that time and looking for a striker to compete for title challenge. :p

Some of the rumours were saying after all that Haaland wanted Ole to be guaranteed to stay - so maybe just maybe that may happen.

Really feel he is the final piece to our attacking quartet.

Dm.....Fred
Pogba
Sancho.......Rashford
Martial
Get someone defensively disciplined next to Fred, like an N'didi or even Scott at his continued development and I feel we could be challenging. With Andreas, James, Greenwood and maybe a Maddison in the summer and squad-wise our attack is sorted with tremendous potential to boot.

Don't think things are as bad as some make out and will continue to try and inspire optimism. Sancho has United's number 7 written all over him!

Get it done Ed!

At least he can't break everyone's heart and sign for Dortmund because he already plays for them ;) In all seriousness though I reckon he's going to Chelsea.

We all love United
Chelsea are such a dull club, why would he sign for them? He’s coming to United if he’s coming to Premier League. He’s also good mates with Rashford and Angel Gomes yes?

He’s even better mates with Sterling and Hudson Odoi.

Nah, there's enough nerds on here who will be delighted to correct me.
As they should.

Seriously it’ll always be hard to live up to the great number 7s so anyone who falls short will be labelled ‘shit.’
