No. We had this debate last window and final decision was this:
I made the same complaint and was told you would be looking at it again or tweaking it for future transfer windows?
I feel like im asking for VAR here..

No disrespect @Fridge chutney, but we need some United news now :nervous:
I agree but unfortunately I can't help there. The most recent news was 300 tweets incorrectly predicting Haland joining United. Most tweets regarding our club are baseless or don't come true.

In other news former Premier League manager Ian Holloway (remember him?) joins Grimsby to help them avoid the drop from league 2. He got them off to a win today.

Ed should have got him while he had the chance.

I see. Nothing to do about that.

Yeah I remember him. Good luck to him :)

No point getting angry at @Fridge chutney - we all know United will do feck-all this window anyway, so does it really matter if he’s polluting this thread with news that 95% of Caftards couldn’t give a feck about?

I’d love our press releases to look like this, too!

”This led to a meeting at Papa’s fish restaurant in Cleethorpes. Anyone who knows Ian will know that his lovely wife Kim is always part of his decision making and she was also with us.”

Can we please have two separate threads for the transfer tweets? A lower-league Fridge thread (sorry mate) and a thread that's remotely relevant to United?

Or a 100% sound argument (surely there is none) for why not.

Apparently if you put users on ignore their transfer tweets no longer show up in the feed.

It’s been stated already by the mods that that won’t be happening.

You mean after the site update? Cause that didn't work last summer. Do the alerts still show - making one all excited about nothing? That's what it was like for 3 months. I'm not looking at this as a Fridge issue, but a site issue.

I get notifications of tweets, but then when I click in there are no tweets there as I have Chutneys lower league revelations blocked. So the tweets don't show up, but unfortunately you.ll still see notifications of new tweets

Yeah, that for me is no fix at all. Making me all excited about nothing, just like all summer. What is the argument for not addressing this?

Think this window will be a surprisingly slow burner despite all the media talk.

I reckon some IT whizz could create a chrome add-on to block comments from Fridge Chutney...

You're all absolutely right - It's @Fridge chutney who ruins the thread with his tweets.... It's absolutely not the whingers who constantly moan about his tweet page after page after page. :wenger:

Just ignore them for god sake. I have an interest in lower league football, so I would be very much opposed to him being banned. I'm not alone in this, which I suspect is the reason that the mods allow the tweets. You know.. Because he's actually following the rules of the thread?!

Please not another window of people crying about FC, far more annoying than anything he posts

I think other people get frustrated because every other shitty club is busy doing work but ours.
I was thinking the other day that you see lower league chairmen have busted their balls getting up to 10 players in, but ours states that he can’t multitask on more than 1 deal at a time. Useless cnut

Why don't we have a United transfer tweets thread to separate it from other clubs?

Agreed, it’s hardly difficult to scroll past them, or like in the summer window people put him on ignore for the duration, I personally enjoy a bit of lower league news.

ESPN know nothing luckily but that would be a depressing level of target. Don't add the creativity we're clearly crying out for and neither of them are starters for their teams (one can't even start for Newcastle regularly). Would be cementing our position in the midtable.
