You ask why can’t we do both but when did we actually do the latter.
I highly rate Bellingham & want the transfer but this regime has shown an inability to sign an established midfielder despite us being an issue for some time.
I'd say 90% of next season's Everton jersey sales would have his name on the back if this goes ahead.
And 100% on the front.

I think he's decent going forward, he has plenty of pace that can be used well. His finishing is poor but overall I think he's a really good balanced RB, versus the offensively minded Hakimi.
