He flips a coin on things that are easy to later on say 'well thats what i was told at the time things must have changed', it would take the biggest monkey in the world to get it wrong every time although he is close.
There are plenty of reputable sources, hacks that vouched for him over the years. Believe what you want, he's not on the blacklist so ignore him if you want.

Pochettino emerges as a strong candidate for the Barca job.

Leaving that whole Espanyol thing aside, how does he fit the Barca style? I like Poch, but I'm not sure this is a good fit.

RAC1 are saying that Barca will turn to Poch only if Xavi isn't in the frame any longer.

This would be a typical AC Milan signing, going by reputation and not actual ability. As good as Boateng was 2-3 years ago, he isn't at the level to be playing at a top level team. He might do well for a team that plays more defensive football where his lack of pace isn't exposed. In a club like Milan, where they will try to be on the offensive, he might be a liability.

I don't think Poch will take the job for reasons he himself already explained, however, for hypothetical sake let's entertain that he does, and does well there, a fair few people will be disappointed we didn't strike whilst he was available if this whole Ole thing goes (further) south.

I think he'd crawl to Barcelona if they offered him the job.

So you think his own statements are the empty platitudes of someone talking like he never thought it could happen?
His statement was to appease the Espanyol faithful like Mourinho did at Chelsea when he made the claim he'd never manage Spurs.
