Nothing to suggest that. So far this season, Pogba had been playing in deeper role. Ole’s plan on Pogba this season could be playing him in the same role as where he plays in France national team while partner him with Scott or Fred.
It's basically impossible to know what the plan would be now.

I agree start of the season it was Pogba and McT, but Fred hadn't kicked on at all like he has now.

I'd love to see what a Fred, McT & Pogba midfield would look like before the end of the season if we can ever get them all fit at the same time.

Hah. I swear I watched him several times as no. 10.

But then if Pogba supposed to play deeper, who's the planned no. 10 then?

Not sure which games you are watching. Name the games this season. I can only remember him played as a 10 only short amount of minutes as tactical change during the game. I’m sure every game he started this season, he played in deeper role.

We had been linked with Bruno since summer, linked with Maddison after summer and also linked with Grealish and now we are trying to sign Bruno.

Last season against Huddersfield. Scored two nice goals and that's engraved into people's minds. I do think with his talent he would be very good there, but it would waste his long passing and ability to drive forward from midfield.

So why are we going on Bruno now in January if Pogba will be our no 10? Pogba will recover before Scott, you would have expect the manager wants to sign that no 6 role rather than no 10. I won’t deny that Ole might be forced to play Pogba as 10 if we don’t sign Bruno, but so far it tells us more that Pogba will play in that 6 like how he does in France. The fact that we changed last season formation from 433 or diamond to this season 4231 even strengthen the idea.

He didn't play that many this season. 8 games with maybe a third of that as subs. You're right he never start as AM, but I'm pretty sure he then moved to AM in certain game.

Also we didn't get any of those players. So it's hard to see the plan was to use either Lingard, Mata or Pereira there as @P-Nut suggested, for the whole season. But maybe the manager likes Lingard, so you could be right.

He still can use long pass even as no. 10. Our no. 10 is not positioned so close to the striker anyway. And with Juventus, he was the most attacking of midfield three, so he's not alien to that position.

Probably in your dream

Only less than 10 minutes against Southampton when Matic came on, but being converted back to no 6 later on when Scott went off. While the Watford game we changed our formation to 433.

[RTP] Manchester United raised the proposal to sign Bruno Fernandes. The English club now offers 55 million euros fixed, plus 15 million in adders.

Someone mentioned in Reddit that RTP Sport is reliable in Portugal. If this is legit, it looks like we increased it by 5m Euro for fixed fees and switched the adds on into goals adds on instead of those CL or Ballon Dor winner.
At least Matt Judge is consistent. He drags it out a month or two and will eventually settle for the original price asked. Basically making sure the selling club works for their price/money.

I suspect he gets ripped off by those old Thai aunties in those open-air markets in Bangkok consistently too when buying souvenirs.

Still wary of this transfer to be honest. Given our midfield we won't be signing another AM for awhile so he has to be exceptional. Hope it turns out that way if we sign him.

Said it before, it seems like Matt Judge is getting paid on hourly base. He's raking up those extra hours.

Yeah. It will be so that we have to run everything through him for a few games, either it works or it doesn't if he can't adapt. The sort of transfer where a gamble might be worth it but you have to be prepared to quickly sell him again if it doesn't work. I have no faith in us managing to do that without going down some sorts of a slippery slope like we did with Mkhitaryan-Sanchez. If we do end up signing him, which I doubt, he simply have to be amazing or the rebuild once again might be severely hampered for a few years. With other signings, not so much. He isn't young so he will either smash it or flop, not much in-between. If we find ourselves going down the road of wanting to convert him to a b2b midfielder at some point, we've failed.

He's a year and half younger than Maguire.

Christ, can you imagine? He'd spend the entire holiday haggling far too low and then pay full asking price on the way to the airport when he realises he hasn't bought any presents for his wife.

 I Imagine him to come up to one like "I REALLY want this one, how much?" and then continue to walk back and forth each day to go haggle over the price which stays the same.

Itl do if he's at least functional. A hard working engine with better decision making and a solid shot is still a massive improvement on Pereira or Lingard.

Oh my we're offering 10m if we win the champions league or league.

Obviously no club would accept this as we arent in the CL and the chances of us winning the league are zero if we look back over the last 5 years or so including this one.

Might as well include a volcano clause as well..

David Ornstein has today said that there are no deals imminent and that there's a very good chance there will be no new players coming in, even on loan. He's usually reliable too.

If true Woodward isn't going to.show up to another game all season. The coward.

Fans need to protest and boycott now. Enough is enough. Get these twats out.

Milinkovic-Savic is probably a box to box more suited to the PL than Bruno. Bruno has the goal threat but he'll be shifted further back if we sign Grealish or Maddison in the summer.

Nah it's OK. January is a difficult month and all that. Right players weren't available etc.

I know, right.

When we finish outside Europa League places, which I think we now will without Rashford, the shit will really hit the fan.

I'm prepared for some more pain if it gets rid of them.

That happened to me in Primary School when I thought I was leaving.

I got goodbye cards and everything and then just rocked up the first day of next term.

Happens a lot. It’s hilarious and embarrassing

Kid in my class left at Christmas, got cards etc. He turned up 2nd week in January as he couldn’t settle.

If we can't make a deal happen because of 5m Euros that is pathetic. We've gone this far now, what's the point of haggling any futher? just get the deal done.

That extra 5m we've tried to save will easily be lost if we don't make the top 4 anyway.
