Warning Because Varun Disagreed with my opinion

I’ve never complained about previous warnings. But the one I received from Varum today was completely unjustified and I can only assume that it’s because he does not agree with my opinion that “Ed Woodward gets more flack then he deserves, and Ed’s marketing deals took United out of austerity under the Glazers”

Considering the lack of ‘quality’ in the replies that I received and me being the one that received a warning.. I can only assume that this particular admin is not following guidelines when issuing warnings. Sad when power is abused.

I can understand why you feel aggrieved because none of your posts deserved a warning (although it's not clear if you received any warning points). But why have you made a new thread for this when you already posted the exact same message in the ask the admin thread?

Not really in the Woodward one. Last joke I made about Ole was when Fernandes deal agreement got confirmed on Sky Sports. “Credit Ole now for signing him, but blame Woodward for bad recruitment if he turns to crap down the line “

I think replying to the warning PM with a message, then reporting the same convo with pretty much the same message before even letting me reply, then posting the same message in the ask admin thread(?) and then creating a new thread with the same message again is funny when it's a 3 point warning and not a global warming alert, yes.

That would be true, but , unfortunately, you replied to my message it didn’t addresses any of the issues that I pointed out or give a reason so I escalated my complaint. Perfectly reasonable

If we have moderation and warning points then we must have accountability by those that issue those points. Without asking I received reasons for my the two previous warnings and felt the mods acted fairly and professionally. In this case I did not.

If you’re picking up regular warnings on a pretty liberal website, with some very light touch moderators... you’re probably doing something wrong.

One of my jokes was offensive on a public forum. Getting points for calling people snowflakes I thought was harsh but I accepted it without complaint because

1)I realised that the mod might have a different understanding of its meaning, and 2) probably didn’t have time to go through all the posts that I replied to to understand the context.

edit: Actually not, only got a PM for that. The warning was for making up dumb quotes in a Moyes presser thread and then Sultan posting those 'quotes' in the mains thinking they were real.
