How did he hint it out?The way Ole described the striker he wants, it actually hinted a bit at Maxi Gomez.

Cannot see us signing him until the summer, so maybe that suggests we are not going to sign someone short term until the end the season and instead wait until there are better options available then. Personally I think we really could do with someone who has that physical presence in the box right now who is prepared to gamble and get on the end of things. The way Ole described the striker he wants, it actually hinted a bit at Maxi Gomez.
I meant the qualities he described in a striker he wants fit Maxi Gomes. We have been linked with him out of the blue. May be there is something going on behind the scenes. How did he hint it out?
Can't remember a more desperate time for many many years. At least it seems its recognised but it's probably too late to rectify it.Have we ever needed a striker more than now?
He will get rid of two ie young and rojoAre you kidding me...
Woodward got one player, two might kill him from all the exertion !!
Cos he's in his 30s, would want probably a three or four year contract and big wages? Can definitely see why we're not in for himDon't understand why we aren't even looking at Mertens as a short term solution. Can play through the middle and from the right and is a proven goalscorer.
Crazy isn't it?Have we ever needed a striker more than now?
How do you know we arent? They are keeping it far more hidden this time around.Don't understand why we aren't even looking at Mertens as a short term solution. Can play through the middle and from the right and is a proven goalscorer.
It kind of feels as if it was never on the agenda to get a striker and ones Rashford's injury was confirmed to be that lengthy they just started running through whatever scouting reports they have.It is very strange, isnt it. They must have had some sort of plan for getting a striker in January aside of Haaland. But it really doesnt look like it. If they pull one out of the hat on this one I’d be gobsmacked, but with the amount of rumours generated out of thin air it seems really strange that nothing is generating any momentum.
I think that we had put all of our eggs into the Haaland basket, then royally cocked that up, trying to play hardball, finished with those eggs on our face..!!It kind of feels as if it was never on the agenda to get a striker and ones Rashford's injury was confirmed to be that lengthy they just started running through whatever scouting reports they have.
I would like Jimenez or, failing that, Ings. Both are Premier League proven and better than most of the options being bandied about here IMO
Wtf, I swear I didn’t read your post before I posted mine about the Haaland basket! Weird!!I think that we had put all of our eggs into the Haaland basket, then royally cocked that up, trying to play hardball, finished with those eggs on our face..!!
For one scary moment I thought I had double vision....Wtf, I swear I didn’t read your post before I posted mine about the Haaland basket! Weird!!
You would never get either in Jan though.I would like Jimenez or, failing that, Ings. Both are Premier League proven and better than most of the options being bandied about here IMO
He was fat wasn’t he?Why didnt we sign ben yedder in the Summer?he was affordable.
Yeah he’s okay now. Pretty sure he came back overweight in the summer.I dunno, he looks fine to me.

More mismanagement if this is the case. A panic loan or stop gap signing would be all but pointless and just serve to get in the way of Greenwood's gametime for little improvement on the pitchAgreed. Can’t remember any reports linking us to them though. Would also take Vardy over Maddison now that we’ve got Bruno.
Can’t help but feel we put all our eggs in the Haaland basket and failed, so guess if we get a striker in it will be a loan or someone from the championship.
True, but we’re pretty much down to the bone as Ole said yesterday. We could need another body with all these injuries.More mismanagement if this is the case. A panic loan or stop gap signing would be all but pointless and just serve to get in the way of Greenwood's gametime for little improvement on the pitch
Or Troy Deeney. The way Ole described the striker he wants, it actually hinted a bit at Maxi Gomez.
Ollie Watkins, 24 years old for Brentford scored 18There must be a player in the lower leagues who is scoring goals.
