Desperately need a right winger. Never create anything from that side of the pitch. Must be the easiest team to defend against.

We need to get martial on the wing. he is the only player not injured that can break them down out wide. Jame sis a waste when were on top.

Desperately need Rashford back, we're devoid of any penetration without him. I just want to see Pogba, Rashford, Martial and Bruno on the same pitch at some stage this season. How much better do you think we'd be?

First half Bruno has looked like a great signing. He finds space, he’s not afraid of a challenge, and he’s looking to release runners - just we have only Martial doing any runs.

I think Pereira has had a good game so far, and I think he and Mata both thrive off a player like Bruno who is comfortable with passing and moving in crowded spaces.

Shaw looks done at this level, I guess he got the nod over Williams because of Traore’s physicality? I think Williams is such a better attacker that our left side is anemic. James is too raw, fast but little skill. He can and will get better, we shouldn’t be relying on him yet.
Agree mostly but I think you're way harsh on Shaw. He's been on traore every time reacting well. Beaten for pace obviously but I think he's playing well, and I also prefer Williams

Because he doesn't work for the team. He makes it easy for them and hard for us with his movement, always wanting it to feet. Then when he does get it he has been poor today, very weak with his back to goal.
He works for the team as much as any other player today, this is frankly bs. And their CBs are repeatedly fouling him, he isn't being weak. I have been disappointed by a few touches but there is zero reason to singling him out today. He has also been free in the box and not picked by a teammate.

He asked a fair question and you come up with this shit. The James hate in here is baffling, he was very good for us until he started being overused due to shittiness and injuries.
He is his rookie season and all things considered he's doing really well.
Of all the answers about sending him back to the championship or league one... you pick that answer to be upset against  to be fair, he is much more effective as a super sub.

How is Fernandes looking so far? I'm irrationally worried that he's another Kagawa/Mkhitaryan (but more expensive) so I'd be delighted to hear his performance is contradicting that.

Our passes from our deeper positions are either underhit or risk averse. Way too slow. The fact that Fernandes is having to direct our players on how to pass out of the back is showing where we have issues. Maguire has been great as usual, but we really have a massive hold in both lindelof and pereira.

Same formation with players swapped around, sigh.

Pereira won't be any less useless on the left.

AWB getting criticism is the wrong target.

He needs a partner on the left and he doesn't. Gary Neville was much more limited technically as a footballer, but he had Beckham in front of him created the space to give him time to make those crosses or get on the overlap. AWB has nothing to help him.
Gary Neville was more limited as a footballer????...... What a load of rubbish

Martial having a Martial performance. He’s not a main centre forward.

To be fair it’s been mostly bad apart from Bruno, Fred and Maguire.
How can you watch that half and think the striker is the problem? Where was the service this half? Wolves have 5 at the back, yet we're attacking with 2/3 players at most.

If Fred & Pereira stay back, Shaw & AWB not providing any real width, who is actually going forward to support Martial? Bruno, James & Mata?

Mata can't commit forward as he hasn't got the legs so it's just Bruno & James, whilst James can't do anything on the ball to provide.

Looks confused by the lack of movement when he gets the ball. Had a decent chance from the edge of the box. Other than that he's been either playing deep or getting ignore while in space.

Yeah he is. He’s been shite.
You haven't got a clue. Is he supposed to take on a 5 man defence on his own? Is it his fault that our whole team is terrified to pass our half-way line too? Leaving us to try and attack with 3 players at most?

Why do we have 8 players in our own half when we're trying to build up? James looks lost, AWB gets a nosebleed anytime he crosses the half-way line, it's horrendous, no wonder we're shooting from a mile away.
On flanks we have player with zero creativity.

Stalemate first half. Standard united fair at home against a team sitting deep. Bruno looks good neat passer and always looking for the killer pass forward, dan james needs to do more take a risk and try and beat a man. Fred done well again..

greenwood on for James at 60 mins if we dont score please.

Wolves don’t look all that we should get a goal if we create anything

I'm impressed with Bruno coming straight from Portugal, and wearing short sleeves and no gloves.

How many fouls are they going to commit before one of them's booked? My guess is that 17 is Tierney's limit, which is high enough for them not to reach before the end of the game.

I can’t believe how much we rely on individual brilliance. It’s even more baffling when you consider the players we rely on to do it.

Wolves are doing a lot of hacking. Some are getting called fouls, but how long will they get away it without being booked?

That's if he hasn't walked out with the protesters.
