Feet up at home.
This is their way of making it too toxic to keep him, forcing us to sell him for say 100m instead of a 150m offer that would have been required.

Personally I am done with him. I think the vast majority are ready to move on.
Yep time to get as much cash back as we can and replace him. He could easily have made an attempt to explain his position if he wanted to placate the fans. He chooses not to so his silence is deafening.

Any idea how much it would cost us to extend his contract by the 1 year clause? Might be worth doing just to play hardball about the transfer and of course to wind Raiola up.

Does anyone else reckon Pogba is just good enough for the Premier league as opposed to us stifling his potential? He is obviously better in Italy where he has more time on the ball to do something.
Nah. Pogba will leave and show how good he is again.

You only have to look at how many midifielders we'd be looking to sign from Italy to see the dearth of quality there. He stands out when he plays in Italy more than he ever will over here, but thats not to say he isnt a good player. Shame its not worked out but I wont be that sorry to see the back of him, he's certainly not irreplacable.

Yeah I'd like for us get a great fee for him but not at the cost of delaying/ruining other major deals.

Just listened to the interview.

Wow you can tell Raiola is an absolute slippery snake of the highest order. No straight answers, throws everything back at the person asking the question, won't commit anything beyond the summer

What a joke of a man.
Yep. He didn't even directly state if Pogba wants to leave or not, just that “He is committed to Manchester United and only Manchester United until the European Championship this year, and then we will talk to the club if necessary. ". Then why all the bs interviews talking about United and Pogba at every turn? Horrible man looking to steer up trouble between players and clubs and managers to get his overpriced and unjustified agent fees.

Poor kind soul was offended that Ole said Pogba is Man Utds and not Raiolas...the trauma of this modern day slavery must stop.

@MrPooni and @Relevated I agree with both of you. By siding with the player over the manager we damaged the dressing room culture even more. The position of the manager was further undermined, his authority even more destroyed, reinforcing the impression that if push comes to shove the club's management will chose their star noodle seller over the coach. How can any coach exert authority over players, and demand 100% from them without dissent, when that's the message sent to the dressing room by the suits?

Had we sold Pogba last summer or the summer before we would've got a better price for him, plus we probably would have created a more focussed dressing room where players genuinely believed their futures depended on the manager not the other way around.
I'm pretty sure 90% of the Caf put the boot into Jose when the camps were split. Player power all the way. Jose was absolutely right.

Jose lost the dressing room, not just Pogba, due to poor results, bad football and publicly throwing his players under the buss to make himself look better; he was the true virus and we are still recovering from that.

Still recovering from that? I'm of a quite a different opinion. Once Woodward pulled the reigns, Jose hit the self-destruct button, but prior to that, had he been backed, I think we would have improved. Whatever problems we have now are not down to Jose. They are down to Ole and the hierarchy.

I have been one of Pogba's most patient fans on here. I still think it would be a huge waste if we do lose him in the summer.

However, that said, at this point he should feckin' man up and tell this fat arse w@nker to have some feckin' respect for this club.

At the end of the day if he's happy to let this idiot shout his mouth off then he must agree with what he's saying. Otherwise why is the tail wagging the dog!?

Starting to p*ss me off this crap.

Pogba's been great for France in international tournaments, and was a key player in a Juventus side that reached a european final. The difference between those teams and United are that he's not/wasn't expected to do it all for France and Juve.

I think the best he's played here is in his first season, and I think Zlatan had a lot to do with it because he carried a lot of the burden of being the teams main man on his shoulders, and after he went it fell to Pogba who just isn't that player.

Anyone still defending this guy needs their head checked in. The guy is a virus and we as a club should stop dealing with him.

None of this shit would be happening if we'd gotten rid of Pogba when Jose said to. Would have commanded a better fee then too.
When then was a poll here, Caf was on Pogba's side. He was legend then. Captain Marvel who stood up against Mourinho and shit like that.

He's been backed more then any other manager and brought in some ageing players with no sell on value on stupendous wages while managing to lose the faith of his own players; lost the plot when he demanded another CD after already buying two of them but didn't fancy them anymore. Ole will do well to fix the mess but it takes a bit of time. We'l agree to disagree i guess.

I comment Simon Jordan on his questioning of Raiola's antics.
Pogba is sitting there quietly whiles his agent goes in against his manager so we know what side he's on.
Pogba wants this; this is how he knows he'll get his move out. Just get him out. I wouldn't play him again this season; don't care how good you are.
His priority is to get fit for the Euros, United is just in the way.

He still says about sitting down with United after the Euros to see what we want to do. Reflected a week ago in Romano's piece.

Think ultimately that they still just want a pay hike and new contract from United, above what any other team would give him.

Totally agree, an agent wouldn't be so open about this if he didn't have the player's approval, even if the agent is in the form of a cnut called Raiola.

Having said that, Ole's faith in Pogba backfired this season it seems and he wants out, the good part is that United have full control on this given the contract commitment, if I was Ole I would put Pogba out of the team until the buyers come for him this summer, this season depended heavily on him as we have been building the team around him for a while, he should be made an example to all other players who think they are bigger than the club. If Fergie went all rogue on Rooney just because he questioned the club's ambition, we should not be lenient with Pogba at all, especially that for 95 million he did feck all.

Can't wait to see the back of this fat clown and his muppet of a cash cow, take Jesse with ye. Jesse the utd fan that signs up with a scumbag who has numerous times slated his beloved club and people at it. Carra and Keane were right, just don't deal with this man. Fergie had it right nearly 10yrs ago.

You don't usually hear this much from agents. This creature is the exception. Agree that Paul knows all about this. The sooner he is gone, even just to improve the ambience around the club. I am sick of hearing about him. Get players in who want to be here. In hindsight we were stupid to bring him back.

Wish he'll just do his job and get us a decent offer for Pogba so we can say good riddance to a slimeball like him.

Pogba hasn't been anywhere near good enough to justify us having to deal with his cnut of an agent.

True about bringing him back, the elements of the story were there though (the return, Paul is back home, etc etc)
As long as The Wood sells him for 100m+ we will be more than okay to build this team without him. Other than being a good marketing puppet for our club, the guy did not offer ANYTHING to justify his price tag, so yes good riddance to him and to his wanker agent.

How people don't cringe when saying things like "he's a virus!!!!". It just sounds so childish. That's not me defending Pogba, I've had enough at this point like most people.

He won't care about what we get, just as long as he and Paul get a nice fat chunk of it.

Think the trouble is Paul is not good enough to carry a team. He needs to have world class midfielders round him. Yet Liverpool are showing that if your midfield is a hard working unit they can still perform to a high level.

Pogba has been at the receiving end of seriously unfair criticism. So I am not surprised that he wants to leave. Once that happened it was a mistake from the club not to let him go. Never keep an unhappy player let alone rely on him so much.

It will be up to him to broker the deal though. Unless we get what we want he won’t be getting anything.

It’s fine and probably even understandable he wants to leave. However, the way he is dealing with it , I don’t approve. His agent is one of the worst people in football. Just genuinely a very dislikable man, who is clearly doing his dirty work for him.

In regards to driving his price down, we paid top dollar in order to get him. He shouldn’t expect us to lower our demands all things considered.

Agree that we should have got rid when his price was at it's highest and yes some of the criticism has been strange, but he and his agent are exacerbating the situation now. As I said elsewhere in hindsight it was a mistake to bring him back. His agent had not changed from SAF's days, so there was always a problem brewing for the future.

He is a cnut, and why I hate agents like these. Too much power and money is given to these cnuts, Pogba has not said anything and this cnut keeps stirring shit up.

Every move gets him tens of millions, no wonder he is desperate for a transfer.

Of course they are, Mino was and will always be an ahole, who'll cheat, backstab and shit on any club if that benefits his player and having Pogba out of United is all about that. The thing is, there's a good way and a bad way to approach a guy like him. The bad way is sticking your feet to the ground and openly challenging him. The good way is giving him a reasonable price for a player and then allow him to work his magic.

And what is a reasonable price for "the best midfielder in the world" (Quoting Raiola)?

Has anyone actually listened to the interview?

He comes across as an absolute cock and is taken to task for it.

As soon as he doesn't like the line of questioning he starts kicking off.

That's something the club and Mino need to discuss. We didn't do any favours to keep that price up tbh. The guy had a magnificent season last year and he got booed by the fans and pundits alike. He then asked to be sold and we refused that as well. Then we played him against Rochdale were he got injured again. Don't take me wrong I don't think Pogba wants to wear the red shirt again and the way he's acting now is despicable. However lets not put all the blame on him.
