We might only have Pogba until this summer unfortunately, but if we can get both Pogba and Fernandes on the pitch at the same time, it’ll be a pure joy to watch.

Both top quality midfielders who demand the ball and will always attempt creative, forward, risky passes

How could we line up to accommodate both Pogba and Fernandes? Who would play with them both in a 3?

You don't accommodate them. Pogba can piss off.

Don't even give the prick playing time to get him in shape for the Euros. Fernandes is the future.

Problem is who will score goals? Unless Ighalo/Martial/Mason raise their game.
But I see your point, FRED or SMT with Pogba and Bruno looks like the best midfield we got for years.

As Pogba not getting an big offers from other clubs he might stay and fight for team? You guys happy with that if it happens?

Looks like we are going to add some quality upfront in summer anyway so we might assemble a team capable of winning more games again.

To be fair if

If we have Pogba on the pitch wtih Bruno, the low block defences will have to worry about longshots and will have to come from low line to block them way more frequently, thus allowing the fake shot -> low pass. We have seen that at games where Pogba played and even today, if they play together - this current tactic used by eveyrone against us will be useless.

I don't think we have anyone capable of sitting on their own behind Pogba and Bruno.

Fred has a load of energy, and can snatch a ball, but is dribbled past a lot. McTominay is more suited to a box to box role. Matic doesn't have the legs to sit alone without a Herrera/Fred covering ground.

I think to fit them in we'd have to play one of them out wide as an inside playmaker. The way we use Mata and Pereira on the right.

Never understand this vehement hate for Pogba. Yes he’s your typical modern footballer but he’s also world class, and our player. If he’s fit before the end of the season he’s the difference between top 4 or not.

There so similar. Can’t wait to see them together. Anyone who doesn’t want to see this as a United fan can do one.

He's world class once every two months for us.

That’s really not true. He’s been our most productive outfield player over the last couple of seasons, it’s just in this one he doesn’t seem to be even remotely interested. He doesn’t play like De Bruyne and it’s unlikely that he’ll ever reach his level, but we only have a few players who can reach his heights.

Weird responses already, but it’s to be expected.

Bruno is a proper player. Pogba is a proper player. I can’t wait to see them playing together. Hopefully it’s for the foreseeable.

Compared to someone like De Bruyne who is world class almost every week.
Who in our team. Not KDB playing for the best team in the league.

Infact don’t respond back. You’ve got no sense.

This in a 4222 would be great, Fred and McT behind Pogba and Bruno, with Rashford and Martial up top would destroy some teams.

Allows the front four to fully drift around whilst having more than one creative outlet for low blocks to worry about.

Pogba only has himself to blame.

You can't whore yourself out to all and sundry without displeasing your current club's fanbase.

If we played a four McT Fred with Fernandes and Pogba wider or 4231. Would be nice to see

They are very similar to be honest.

The only difference being one of them actually wants to be here.

I'd be very interested in seeing it. Pogba would have to be more consistent throughout entire games for me to be happy with him. He may have the most key passes/assists when playing but also causes an incredible amount of unnecessary turnover. The aim has to be players that contribute not just to their own goals/assists but to the whole performance (this is why people pointing to Lukaku scoring is whack and a shallow line of thought).

Playing with someone better may be enough to lift Pogba though, so I definitely want to see.

Pognandes. Put Sancho in there and maybe another CB like Koulibaly and we'll be challenging again.

Not for me. Pogba and Fernandes might interfere unless one of them plays a more restricted role.
Yeah I suspect it would be Pogba in the more restricted role, like a defensively minded no. 8, from what I've seen Pogba marginally the better tackler but by no means a proper DM.

Do you think both could play in the same team effectively if Pogba were able to stay back more, put a shift in and ping worldie passes from deep? :D

Would be great to have both fit and available in the squad.

Pogba? Who gives a feck about Pobga. I wouldn't have him anywhere near the side and we don't even really need him.

Not sure why people are making this difficult.

Pogba likes to drift left. Drop James and leave two holding, Bruno and Pogba then Martial and either Greenwood/Ighalo/James

In theory it could work yes but Pogba needs to be 100% fit first and that ain't happening anytime soon

Assuming Pogba willing to stay, which I have serious doubt. How to accommodate both of them. We will need to play a 433 and still need a proper DMF, whether Matic or McTom. So Pogba will have to take over Fred's role, and allow Bruno further upfront, for full effectiveness. We can't afford having 2x #8. I have no doubt on whether Pogba can play #6 or not, I have doubt on his will.

Cant wait for Pogba to be back because we will destroy some teams with him and Fernandes

This, I'm dreaming of...

------Martial - Rashford - Sancho
----------------------Bruno-----------------
--------------Pogba - Fred------------
Shaw - Maguire - Varane - AWB
----------------------De Gea----------------

Edit; I've gone a bit nuts and thrown Varane in because I think he would be perfect with Maguire

Pogba and Bruno able to swap, Greenwood rotating into the starting 11 as well. :keano:

With the disrespect from Pogbas agent toward Ole, I wouldn’t give him any playtime. Focus on the players here that will be with us in the future. Au revoiur!
