I don't know if that's good news. The EPL is theirs and now they'll be fully focused on the ECL.

Who would, in their right mind, try to laugh at Liverpool from the position we're in?

That's pathetic. I don't go on and on about their wins when we're not on the same level as them, but it's equally pointless to try and make their only defeat of the season so far in to something to laugh at them for.

Have some sense and don't embarrass yourself. We should reach their level, or at least wait it out till they drop to ours before we can laugh at them again.

What a relief! Must say I'm shocked it was Watford of all teams. Would have preferred if we had a ended it ourselves, but it doesn't matter. Won't have to listen to the unbeaten nonsense now.

Feck all. They pretend it never happened from what I’ve seen. Funny, that.
The way it gets glossed over in comparison to Hillsborough is sickening. 14 Liverpool fans imprisoned for manslaughter. All English teams banned from Europe. What a disgrace it was.

You know why this deserves a laugh?

The talk of them being the greatest english side. That's why.

Let's laugh more at them.

Bunch of scumbags. Play the whole honourable club card as if they are House Stark of football. But really they are pure scum that are deluded and bitter. Domination? Bollox. Win a title, then again. That lot will have you believe they've been dominating English football for years, when they are still a month away from their first title in 30 years.

Easiest league in a decade. They should be breaking records and win it comfortably. Not anymore though.

If we had kept our concentration at OT we’d have ended it a lot sooner. We kept them quiet the whole game

Bore off, we can laugh at them when we want, your logic is as pathetic as LiVARpool's latest result.

this idea that you shouldn’t laugh at something because your own situation is worse is a bit weird

laughing at people in a better situation than you is the most natural thing in the world

It’s fecking Watford FFS

If you are a United fan and you didn't enjoy their lossless streak ending with a 3:0 defeat from fecking Watford, then you need to take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself whether you are a United fan at all.

And that is the only logic anybody can use in this circumstances. The logic of heart.

This thread is f... pathetic. I would laugh at the Dippers if we had any basis to do so but unfortunately we don't. I enjoyed the fact that they lost but that's about it and every good football team can lose a game.

Its a weird one. they deserve what they have.. they have been on an incredible run.. but City are still the better side for me..
A strong City XI vs strong Liverpool XI, I would back City most times.

Its similar to when Leicester won the league.. they deserved it.. but it never felt like they were the best side in the league..
Everyone kept fecking up against them, they did very well..found a crest and rode it to hell .

Looking at that Liverpool squad, this should never have happened. Great fitness levels and incredible confidence can do a lot I suppose.
City this season haven't been great and it's quite even between City and Liverpool when you compare their first eleven, Liverpool have been crazily consistent for two year running but most most people subconsciously give complete credit of it to Klopp while underrating their players.

Winning the league is one thing but after certain number of years it's inevitable the streak would be broken eventually.

I am, however, glad that their unbeaten run came to an unceremonious halt, which means I don't have to endure the "unbeaten" nonsense. Against Watford of all teams no less.

FFS. We're not laughing at them from a position of superiority; they're a much better side than us right now. No, we're laughing because they lost to a relegation side on the day when the media was preparing to shower them with plaudits for months over this invincibles record. And we're laughing because they're our biggest rivals, always. That's what football fans do. What's so hard to understand about this?
