League B
Group 1: Romania, Northern Ireland, Norway, Austria

League B
Group 4: Bulgaria, Republic of Ireland, Finland, Wales

Bloody Wales again. Be interesting to see how many of our lads legs they can break this year I suppose.

Happy with this draw for Belgium, not too hard but still some good games. Should be between England & Belgium for the top spot.

Now to go figure out what the point of this whole league is again.

Romania and Ireland?! Feck sake, two of the most shitehousery teams in Europe.

Terminator back in Austria to destroy some more defenders.

Two years on and I still don't know what the format of this competition is, what the winner gets, or what the point of it Is. Still, I hope we bloody win it.

Why are Ireland always playing Wales?
Every bastarding year

So is this separate to the Euros in the summer?

The worst possible group for Iceland perhaps. Denmark is one of our worst ever records, Belgium is our worst ever opponent and England have a grudge and are much better than us. We've handled Portugal, Spain, Italy, France better than any of those 3 teams. On the other hand a great draw for the other teams to draw us instead of Germany.

There is no qualification towards the World Cup this time right? Like the Euros last time.

I don't understand why people are complaining about this competition
The games were played to a very high level last time out. Also far more enjoyable as a spectacle than your average friendly

Yeah was going to ask how will this be linked to world cup qualification (if at all?). Play off qualification as insurance for group winners? Better seeding for World cup groups?

Scotland always get fecking Israel and Slovakia. Feel like we go on a circular journey of playing Israel, Slovakia, Kazahkstan and then someone massive. For a footballing nation, we are shite.

The year is 2084. Ireland have just been drawn in Wales’ League of Nations group for the 77th consecutive time, ensuring that the sides have met at least 9 times per calendar year over the last 84 years, a record only bettered by Ireland’s twice weekly friendlies versus Oman.

Republic of Ireland manager Robbie Keane, in his 13th stint as ROI manager is still canvassing support among his coaching staff for the idea of starting himself up front, if only to spite Shane Long’s grandchildren. It’s fair to say that the game has not captured the public’s imagination, with only 7 tickets having been sold, 5 of those to members of John Delaney’s current harem. But still the band plays on....

How are Germany still in League A? Didn't we get relegated? Or did coming first in Euro qualifying help us?

Also, why is it four teams in a group now? It was 3 last time.

Wtf is going on?!

Honestly, my first reaction is "Ugh, more football."

Let us miss the sport a little, yeesh.

I thought this was only going to be a thing during the Euro Championship qualifying period? Why's it here for the world cup period too?

Germany get relegated so they increased the number of teams.

The winners get a playoff slot for the World Cup in this. It's the best thing UEFA has done in years, teams will take it seriously and it gets rid of the boring and pointless friendlies everyone hated.

I’m still not entirely sure what this is.

I seriously dont get the Nations League

Should I start caring about it? Is it going to end up as big as the Euros? Is it the League Cup of Internationals?

May not be like euros or wc but I would still like to see this than friendlies.
