Chelsea should do a madness and offer Willian for Son. Mourinho can’t resist Willian. Still can’t believe he wanted to bring in Perisic and Willian. Nah, Mourinho needs to be court martial’d and made to pay for his crimes

He's finished.

I said during his 2nd or last season for us, he'll never win another league title at a top club ever again. Some thought I was crazy.

Real Madrid completely broke him and he has never recovered.

Not sure what he gains from this, maybe a trick to fire up the squad or excuse saying how he read the situation much earlier and saw this coming.

All these shouldn't be said in press.

What a pathetic, sad, shameless man. Only looking for excuses, it's never his fault. Not to mention that he's paid 15 million a year for delivering absolutely nothing of notice and yet again getting a club into crisis.

Gone from one manager that had lost the plot to a manager that has a huge history of losing the plot and creating toxicity. It can only get worse from here with players already feeling angry and frustrated.

United have a deeper squad than Spurs.Mourinho needs to realize that he is no longer at a top team.
Deeper squad. We have had to rely on our academy at times this season. Williams and Greenwood. Mourinho just wouldn't ever go anywhere near the academy lads at his club.

Cowardly tactics yesterday from Mourinho that deserved to be punished. 1-0 up at home against the worst team in the Premier League and he chooses to try and sit back defend the lead for the entire second half. All that magic he had is his early days, that we only saw in tiny flickers at United, seems to have gone. Think this could get worse for Spurs yet.

Obertans #1 fan.
I’m loving all these comments, “all his powers are gone”.

Yeah, his powers to spend millions and millions more than anyone else. He’s always been a shite negative bastard who can’t build a squad.

His inability to adapt to the modern game has led to his downfall. I actually feel kind of sorry for him...almost like Wenger

This wasn't a defeat. Was a draw at full time.

(- Glaston, any moment now)
no. One of the best things when spurs lose is @glastonspurms goes missing. Glorious.

its so amusing at spurs, because it’s so predictable. Every Chelsea and Utd fan could tell you this was going to happen.

thank god he’s not our problem any more.

Jose clearly doesn’t care, and hasn’t for a long time. That £20m payoff is getting closer and closer - great work if you can get it. Specialist in failure anyone?!

That really is spineless. I'm sure some managers have faced that dilemma when alone with their thoughts but you don't actually come out and say it.
Pretty much everyone could see that Jose and Levy was a car crash waiting to happen. Levy isn't going to be impressed with this attitude.

We have no chance of getting top 4. No chance of sacking Jose either. Guy needs a few windows to sort this mess out. This team has been fecking shite for over a year.
Been trying to say this since October. You are in a worse situation than us in term of rebuilding the squad. Ageing defense and average midfield with small amount money left to spend due to new stadium. Lot of works to do.

When did he lose his balls?
Around Christmas 2017.

They were still present throughout the CL group stages in the autumn, but had vanished by the time of the awful 0-0 at home to a desperately poor Southampton at the end of the year. That was the first time he seemed to have set up a team to be negative just for the sake of it.

Honestly baffled that any Spurs fans are backing him to succeed with a long term rebuild. He'll get another year probably, but I've no doubt this is all only ending one way.

I don’t know what Spurs fans are complaining about. This is Spurs true level.

Pochettino took them to places they can only dream about. They are just getting back to reality. Things will get worse as Kane and few of your top players will want to leave.

At least this now mean less competition for United.

Oh my.
Uh nonsense

My problem with him us that he sets him team as the underdog irrespective of the opposition. I imagine spurs players going from attacking City/Pool/United away to under Poch to defending at home against Norwich under mou.
One thing he has going for him though is that he knows how to deflect the attention of some of the fans away from himself. It's always an aging squad, not good enough players, lack of investment, toxic dressing room, poor officiating, injuries etc.

Again, this just highlights what a genius of a manager SAF was. Nearly 3 decades of constant success. Then you have Jose, who at 1 point was arguably one of the best managers in the world. But even be could only sustain his success for 10 odd years.

He's in his prime years now, he should be using his experience to win even more but he's looking like a washed up old far.

To be fair he took over two clubs that were collapsing under themselves. United and Tottenham were poisoned chalices. Its not exactly surprising is it. He took over a Tottenham side downing tools. Half players want out. Loads of injuries. Not a lot of money. He doesnt help himself much by his attitude and the sht he does though. He can be that way if he is winning but when he is loosing.

Pretty much every manager takes over a losing side though, a team acting like that. It's not a unique set of circumstances.

I’m very surprised he took this job. I’d have thought he would’ve gone for an easier role.

Madrid players downed tools, Chelsea players downed tools, ManUtd players are virus and downed tools and now he can't do much better at Spurs.

Somehow only Jose gets these jobs.

I sort I’d of agree, it’s almost uncomfortable watching him have another meltdown and this time around in record time.

Difference is, while no saint Wenger was much more dignified than Mourinho and wouldn’t go to war with his own team, fans, press, etc on a regular basis.

While I should probably take pleasure in watching the man who dragged our club through the mud fail again, I can’t as he genuinely seems a bit psychologically unhinged.

He’s a successful, rich man but I don’t think he’s particularly well mentally.

The Wenger comparison is very apt. Both managers used to have a lot of strings to their bow, but over time became parodies of themselves. As well as possession based football, Wenger used to have rugged defences & deadly finishers in his team along with a real backbone (its funny to think there was a timewhen his team got loads of red cards). But eventually all those other things whittled away until you were left with the tippy-tappy inoffensive possession game of late Wenger. Mourinho used to use his aggro tactics to inspire incredible loyalty in his players, would have relentlessly organised teams and a will to win that was remarkable at this first 3 clubs. But all those things have gone and all he's left with is the aggro.

Wondering the same lately. I remember Fred looked off the pace in the beginning, but was he ever this bad?

 This guy makes washed up Yaya look like Kante in work rate.
