Voiding is a complete bullshit response that would only be driven by those with an agenda like Norwich, Bournemouth, Man Utd, Everton etc. A perfect excuse for teams who've been shit for the past 7-8 months while punishing teams who've actually been quality like Liverpool and Sheffield United.
Good one

If the season is voided then Man United won't be in the Champions League next year!

No chance. Too much cash at stake. It will be suspended until summer and euros postponed til next year
Euro can't be postponed till next year unless FIFA allow to move their qualifiers and AFCON back, which they likely won't?

As if United owners give two fecks about who wins the league.

They want the match day revenue plus the chance to get CL football.

Am I wrong? Why do you want the season voided? The reason is obvious. Funnily enough, as things stand your club is in the final CL spot yet if they void it you're back in the Europa League next season.

If it gets cancelled it has nothing to do with football whatsoever. It comes from the powers above. They won’t be thinking about any teams and probably couldn’t give two shiny shites. It’s not a conspiracy in any way. The teams that have been shit just get a lucky break. Liverpool will still get the title, a bit of the gloss is missing off it that’s all.

Who cares? I’d HAPPILY take another year in the EL. With pleasure.

No chance Boris cancels this. He'd still have us finishing the season amidst a zombie apocalypse.

No they won't.

I despise them and would find it hilarious but let's be honest, it's bollocks.

I am genuinely buzzing that it might feck you over x.
You don't have to describe that feeling to Liverpool fans. We used to buzz like that on occasions over the last 30 years. It's all we had left.

So you are wrong, United's owners wouldn't want the season to be avoided because we would miss out on CL.

So stop spouting nonsense about us having agendas.

Fans of clubs who'll be robbed. The actual clubs themselves like Sheff Utd who'll miss out on not only the European experience but also the revenue it brings. Teams like West Brom and Leeds who'd be missing out on the massive Premier League cash boost?

Not a wum, I asked before, what will the financial impact be for Utd for another CL-less season? Must be close to the bone now?

I checked the Utd forum, nothing there.
Another season?

If this season is declared null and void then United will have only failed to qualify for the CL last season. It will be as though this season never took place. So if football resumes next year as normal next season then that will be the follow up season to 18/19, so i doubt anything would change with Uniteds current contracts.

It will be in the the league rules that the season should be voided if the league is left unfinished due to unforeseen circumstances. Not voiding it according to their own rules will leave them in in massive legal trouble with any teams that would end up worse off. It will be their only option. Teams that suffer due to the voiding will just need to suck it up. I'm not sure why so many people think it can't happen. It's by far the most likely outcome.

Why would we want the season voiding? We'd be back in the EL when currently we're on a good run of form and have a very good chance of making top 4.

If it’s postponed for a few weeks Spurs get Kane and Son back to finish the season. Possibly before we play them too.

If Klopp hadn't ranted at length about having a mid season break for his tired little dears, then they might have already won the league.

In all seriousness, some things are more important than football. From RAWK:

I genuinely could not care less if the season is voided. My commute to and from work consists of a 25-minute bus journey and a 20-minute train. Every day right now is riddled with anxiety, not just because I could catch the virus but because I could pass it on to someone who really could do without getting it. In an ideal world, everything would be shut down for as long as it takes. If that means we scrap this season then so be it. The Reds will have been 22 points clear when it happened so we can celebrate winning the league and rivals can celebrate us not winning it - everyone’s happy. Football is genuinely not in any way important
