Bad managers beat Ole and good ones lose to him.

So I guess the question is... are we playing Jose Mourinho, or the Jose Mourinho who only exists in the head of Jose Mourinho?
We are playing three times Premier League Champion.
    Respect man, respect, respect.
Three for him and none for them.

I think tactically its best to leave out Pogba. Spuds and Sheffield United are our biggest threats beneath us. The Arsenal was another until they got smashed by Citeh.

They need to win. We only need a result.

Let them come after us -- we can sit back for the first 60mins and then pounce them after.

With Bruno and Pogba, we are more vulnerable to their attack. Best would be McT and Fred with Bruno.

We only put Pogba on after the 60th min or when we need to chase the score.

There are plenty of matches left. We play Pogba and Bruno against the bus parkers.

I'm actually worry seeing this despite being pretty confident. As far as I can remember whenever things are like this, usually we'll have a big, unpleasant surprise.

Hope Ole and the lads won't be carried away too much, Spurs is no joke tbh. Let's take them as a big 6, we have super records against big 6 under Ole.

It's like 12h more to the match but I'm already very excited. It'll be 2 AM here. Can't wait, 3-0 for us

I will take a 1-0 win. The short term goal is to knock off the two teams below us to increase our chances of getting into the CL. The rest is out of our control -- how Chelsea or Wolves plays. We cant affect them.

The fact that we are getting nervous before a match is a welcomed sensation considering the past 102 days of nothingness.

I really want us to win this but a draw under the circumstances would be a decent result.

One thing I can't get out of my head is peak Jose managing us vs Juventus, I have that feeling about today's game.

Why would Ole willingly play Perreira when he's got options?
Just a feeling. I expect Spurs to give us the ball to counter so high workrate, decent crossing from deep and long range threat might be what he goes with in the first half with more pace being introduced in the second.

Just because he's not respected by the fans doesn't mean the coaching staff won't pick him if his attributes best fit the tools needed in a given game.

    Match Day!

I'm bricking it, to be honest. I'm going to be gutted now if we don't show up.

Optimistic but I'll stick with it. Pogba and Rashford to get 60 - 65 mins.

Only way that side could be more attacking is if Fred dropped out and we threw Ighalo in to make it a 4-4-2. I like your optimism but no way are we seeing that side.

Expect to see Pogba and Greenwood come on in the second half if we are chasing the game.

    I'm worried too.

They have Son and Kane back, it's a big test and I'm worried it will take a while for some of our players to get back up to speed. Expecting to see big mistakes costing us. My only confidence of players being on it are Bruno and Rashford.

Would be delighted to see that line-up. I see virtually no midfield so yes please do play that way.

 There’s three actual midfielders in the team, two of them are world class footballers.

Do any Spurs fans here have a prediction as to how they will line up?
    I'd guess something like this:

    --------------------------------- Lloris --------------------------------------
    Aurier----------Toby A----------------- Sanchez-----------Davies
    --------------------Sissoko-------------------Lo Celso/Winks (fitness dependent)
    --------------------------------N'dombele------------------------------
    Lucas --------------------------------------------------------- Son
    -------------------------------Kane-------------------------------------

Who of those fourteen players do you think will be in the starting XI?

You lot have been so confident since the lockdown. Now the footy's actually back you are bricking it!
    Cautiously confident.

The thought of this team gives us confidence that we can do well however; we have seen over the years that a good team and we haven't turned up.

We had a good spell before the lockdown but it was in 3 different cups. We have seen spells of good football under Ole, yet we have lacked consistency.

I actually think Chelsea will drop plenty of points from now until the end and they still have Liverpool, Wolves, Sheffield and City to play. I think we really should be finishing above them considering our fixture list.
Hopefully, but I see us dropping quite a few too. We got Leicester, Sheffield, Palace and some tough games against relegation fodder who will be playing for their survival.

I think this is lazy observation that I keep seeing.

We beat you with a mdifield of Fred, Mctom and Lingard?

If your saying Pogba doesn't contribute defensively, that's also been proven false many times.

I have a feeling that Jose might go with a 5-4-1 and play on the counter.

Quite a strong team, that. Feels weird seeing full strength teams, there's always usually one significant injury (unless you're fecking Liverpool).
