Hard to decide between Iwobi 35 million or Solanke 20 million being the worst PL transfer of the last five years. It’s a tough one.

This Bournemouth relegation has been coming for a while, sticking by mediocre League 1 and Championship players and some terrible transfers. Feel bad for Howe and the club, was a great underdog story. Hope someone buys Brooks off them.

Bournemouth by a mile. When you blow your entire budget on a reject not once but twice....

We lost there this season though. One of our worst performances i could ever remember
We lost to many this season during the first half it's hard to count, but otherwise we usually do well there.

Is that the club chosing them or Howe really has bad judgement?
I reckon Howe would have a massive say because it’s a small club and he is such a central figure.

He has stayed loyal to players who aren’t the required quality and he hasn’t added to it. Players like Ibe and Solanke were expensive and actually worse than what he already had.

He has been rightly praised for his good work there, only fair that he is criticized for a failure to recruit any sort of quality bar Ake in the years he has had in the top division.

Quite a few of their players came up the league with him. It was bound to happen as you say.

General consensus must’ve been delighted with that, no? Think it’s a great price. Guy was infuriating to watch during this match.
Pretty much. I think most fans were disappointed at losing one of our own but you can't argue with that price

Arsenal have a rough couple weeks ahead. Wolves, Leicester City, Tottenham, and Liverpool. At least they should get some confidence off their last couple wins going into that stretch. They could really help us or be utterly useless.

Probably when you consider what percentage of their spend those two were. Absolute madness. Smaller teams around them have managed to recruit well, so no real excuses.

Joelinton 40m
That is a mad one too, although I think there is a better player in there than either of the two I mentioned. I think he just isn’t suited to the style of play more than anything else.

yeh Solanke alone for £20m was worth the sack. And perhaps the firing squad. Used to irritate me when our fans wanted him playing in the first team when he was never good enough. But "yoof player innit"
Also, how much did they spend for Ibe ??

Meh, Sanchez to United wins by far.
He is terrible from being laden by his wage, but considering he was free and as a percentage of United’s turnover, Solanke is probably worse.

There is no coming back for a team like Bournemouth wasting nearly 40 million on him and Ibe. It’s crazy.

Surely we are thumping Bournemouth on Saturday? How the hell did we lose to them earlier on in the season? Their recent results have been absolutely garbage
If they get anything from that game on Saturday then it’ll be the ultimate sign of game-raising going on this display. But they produced probably their best performance of the season against United so maybe that’s what Howe is banking on - but it’s still only three points, they can’t survive with only turning-up against United. This form is shocking stuff.

Cedric Soares. They sign him I think in January. The last game he played was for Southampton and has been injured ever since.
I was saying ‘who’ was awaiting his debut. :)

Bizarre signing that most Arsenal fans worry has come from Kia Joorabchian’s influence over our senior management.

Penalty for Leicester? That was a clear Coleman handball.
He'd his hand down by his body and it's been smashed at him from a yard away. It only looked conspicuous because the speed of the ball has forced his hand away from his body.

Literally nothing he could've done.

Not to jinx things but there hasn't been much game raising without the crowds so reckon we'll be ok.

6mins! Balls
