I've been pretty consistent in my opinion on us not finishing inside the top 4, to be fair.

Unlucky that Brandon got injured at that time. With 11 I don't think we would have conceded that goal.

Time for United's annual 'look like we might get top four then shit the bed' routine?

*Huge* result tonight, feels like West Ham away under LVG. Puts huge pressure on our game at Palace. Not trying to be too much of a downer, but I think tonight may end up being a turning point, unfortunately.

Gives Chelsea and Leicester the incentive to push on again as their mistakes haven’t been punished. We should still get top 4, but signs of bottling it are still there and it’s so fecking frustrating

We actually had lot of chances to finished the game before that 80th minute but we didn't take it. Southampton defended very well as well in 2nd half.

Well this is awkward......
Not really, I think most people here were saying Southampton would be a hard game and if you look at the last couple pages plenty of people are still cautious/pessimistic about the standings. It was that other Chelsea fella who was going around crowing about beating Sheff Utd before it actually happened, tbf.

United still favourites to finish third at the bookies and at FiveThirtyEight. Was always unlikely we would win all matches,

We looked absolutely knackered. We really need some freshness and quick. Still very confident we will finish top 4, maybe even top 3. Chelsea and Leicester will both drop points before their last matches.

Yeah, said from the restart that was what it'd take. I don't think we're finishing 4th and haven't all season.

We're still more likely than Chelsea or Leicester at this stage, based on the remaining games.

Leicester seem to be really struggling and have 3 really tough games. I'd still fancy Chelsea and United to get the two spots.

Not disastrous, just annoying. Only thing it means is that we likely won't clinch before the last day now. Liverpool to pick up points from Chelsea still, and Spurs to still pick up points against Leicester. United to be on 65 points come the final day, Chelsea to be on 63/64 points come the final day, Leicester to be on 61-63 points come the final day.

We were never going to win every game, it’s been a great run and we’re still unbeaten. I think we’ll go in to the final day third, after winning our next two.

And suddenly Leicester will have more energy in their legs. Chelsea too.

We’re still okay, but that can be our only slip up.

My fear is likely to come true now. We will have to go and get a result away to Leicester and come up with another gutless and spineless display. They don't have the mentality to follow through, same as last year.

Colossal feck up. Chelsea play Norwich tomorrow and will go 4 infront with us having to go to Palace.

We’re going to have to beat Leicester away in the last game imo.

Meh that last ten minutes showed we've still got a long way to go.

Still favourites for the top 4, so can't be too annoyed.

Still reckon we walk it and won't need a result against Leicester. Expect them to drop 4 points in the next 2 games and us to get the wins.

I dont want to hear about anyone saying we have an easy run anymore. Read about way too many people thinking we're the real deal but haven't done shite yet, we have improved a lot but we're FAR from even saying we have an easy fixture. Every game will be fecking difficult and the fecking complacency after a good run is disgusting.

Say what you want we may lose to Leicester but West Ham and Palace are tricky fixtures aswell. West Ham, like Southampton, is a difficult fixture for United and it will be fecking hard as hell.

This United team isn't fecking anything yet.

We will finish top 4. Today was a blip and the players looked really tired. Happens.
Leicester look dreadful and Chelsea have been up and down pretty much all season. They aren't winning at Anfield and I am pretty confident we will win our next two games.
If it comes down to us having to get a result against Leicester last day, I am sure we will do that.

Heading into the last game we should be in the top 4 and just need to avoid defeat. Massive pressure on that game though and we don't seem the strongest when the pressure is on.
