If we can beat West Ham with a huge goal margin and Tottenham beating Leicester by 2-3 goals. We don't have to win or lose with 1-2 goals, we would still finish fourth. That's what I will go for.

Liverpool will bend over for Chelsea. Don’t get your hopes up for them dropping points there. Wolves are more likely to take points off them.

Wolves race is run, how to motivate themselves to give Chelsea a game.

Is there a scenario where both us and Leicester can go in the final day just needing a draw.

Huge win but on the flip side leicester also got the points.

Hence we are relying on our ex-manager to do us a favor. Who knows? Will he be in the mood to sabotage us or will he get his team fired up? The reality is that spurs only have the slimmest of chances to get top four.
They don't, they can get a maximum of 61pts, United & Leicester are on 62.

They could still get a Europa League place.

Even worse then. Down tools time, if mourinho still is holding a grudge against woodward. But who knows, he got an excellent reception from the fans at OT and we do still love him as our own.

Leicester beat Spurs.
We beat West Ham.
Chelsea lose to Liverpool.

We can play out a 0-0 draw with Leicester on the last day and both qualify.
This is actually the best scenario. Better than Leicester dropping points against Spurs, because then they'd need to beat us. Would love to screw Chelsea over too.

Yes.

If Chelsea lose to Liverpool and both us & Leicester win our next games. Both teams can just play for a draw against each other on the final day

Spurs will be wanting Europe next season and will be wanting to go to Palace on the final day as favourites for that.

Chelsea will also be nervous on the final day against a good side if they fail to beat Liverpool.

West Ham game is massive now. Have to hope they win tomorrow so they are all but safe.

Spurs can still achieve Europa, that should provide a bit of motivation. Chelsea will smash Lpool though, they've been dreadful.

Honestly, I couldnt care less as long as Manchester United get into the top four.

I for one hope spurs do the job, because that means we have a little bit of a cushion on the last day. Maybe the dippers will wake up and get a result too but I wouldn't count on it.

But then if the Scousers don't show up, we'd end up needing to win at Leicester. :nervous:

Huge win all considered.

Barring a collapse against West Ham we’ll be going into the last game with top 4 on the line.

Hopefully before that Spurs can take points off Leicester so we can swing the draw result in the last match to our benefit.

Will also be hoping for a Liverpool win vs Chelsea for obvious reasons and a West Ham win vs Watford which could make them all but safe by the time they come to Old Trafford.

Hammer them hammers at OT and we will be in the driving seat. Both Leicester and Chelsea will draw at max in the next matches.

Somehow, I have a feeling that both Liverpool and Spurs will not win. Hence, we need to win at home against West Ham.

Spurs 11-0 Leicester (Jose Masterclass. Vardy, kasper and Maddison sent off)

United 13-2 West Ham

Leicester 2-1 United.

We get in on goal difference

They will still want Europa. There are financial incentives there. Levy is a money man.

Chelsea are defo making top 4.

Imo Leicester will have to beat United on the last day by a couple of goals to make it.
For any scenario where Leicester need to beat you on the last game by a couple of goals, there would need to be a swing of 6 goal difference or more. Because we have a +3 GD over you at the moment, and any goal against you in that game will count double in terms of GD (as we gain one, you lose one). Plus if it's a tie, we'll be ahead on goals scored (unless you bag 4 against West Ham).

So if my maths is right, I think you'd need something like a Spurs 3 - 0 Leicester, and a Man Utd 3 - 0 West Ham to have a scenario where Leicester would need to win the final game by more than 1 goal.

Basically, I think it's 'gonna come down to a winner takes all final game.

Ideal scenario:

- Leicester beat Spurs
- United beat West Ham
- Chelsea lose to Liverpool
- United and Leicester play out draw on final day

This will end up happening though:

- Leicester draw with Spurs
- United beat West Ham
- Chelsea draw with Liverpool
- Leicester beat United

Thing is, everbody wants to go to Europe.

One of Chelsea - Us - Leicester is going to EL.

Also, one of Tottenham - Wolves - Sheffield will go.

So, Tottenham have all to play for vs Leicester next round and Wolves have all to play for vs Chelsea in the last round.

And Klopp wont like losing two in a row so the dippers could be fired up for chavs.

Doesnt look good for Chelsea does it.

To the wire it is!!

I don't see Liverpool losing back to back games, they've got some pride so I think Chelsea will drop points (could see a draw)

Both Leicester and Chelsea are away to tough opposite for the next league game. I can see one of them dropping points. We need a win against West Ham.

maximum the dippers get is a draw. They've lost all form and concentration. Their mind is at the beach already.

Have higher hopes that wolves might be able to do something on the last day. Possibly at least a draw.

It's totally in our hands thanks to the last game we have vs Leicester. As long as we don't lose against WHU, a win against Leicester will give us the top 4 spot.
