Greenwood is really exciting to watch and I hope that he has a great future with us. I don't want any of him, Rashford or Martial going anywhere.

Definite no.

If Sancho wants to come and join Greenwood at Old Trafford, then of course we'll have him. :D

No, but it wouldn't surprise me if Sancho is the better player for the rest of their careers. There is something about watching one of our own develop that is a lot more rewarding.

I don’t even think it’s a given Sancho is better than Greenwood now, if your considering post Covid.

And I think there is every chance that by this time next season Mason will be the better / more valuable player anyway.

However- the obvious answer is BOTH!
That’s why I put the question mark of “Isn’t he?”

I think he is currently more talented overall. I’d find it hard to argue that Greenwood is the better player now and I’d need to see a very well put together argument to suggest that but I’m open.

Mason is a goalscorer. That’s an invaluable talent. What Sancho does is also create and score at an incredible rate this season.

As an overall package Sancho appears to be the better player. The fact there is even a tinge of doubt though shows just how well Greenwood is doing.

If Greenwood was scoring/assisting every 112mins next season or better then you have to be looking at him as being not just a promising talent but a top player. But there’s a big difference between doing it for part of a season and doing it for a full season on tired legs. So for now Sancho is better. But end of next season we may well be having a different result.

Greenwood a proven goal scorer in the premier league vs Sancho a good player in the Bundesliga who could potentially be good in premier league. Easy decision unless you are a gambler. The answer is Big NO

I agree with this.
Sancho looks like a tremendous talent and will have a great career.
Greenwood could become an iconic figure for us and he's already got his career off to a great start. It's exciting to see just how good he can become here. I get a little buzz every now and again when I think about how Ronaldo was during his time with us and being able to see him go from the player he started off as to the player he is now, and also the player he was when he moved on from us. Similar sort of thing with Giggs and Scholes.

It doesn’t even matter whether you think Sancho is and will be a better player.

Greenwood has been at Utd his whole career (granted only a few years...), so why would we even think about swapping for a player outside of our academy.

There is still something magical, and perhaps intangible about having a young player come through the ranks and make it in the first team. I’d take that every time over buying a player.

Having said all of that, no reason why we can’t have both lining up for us next season (well £100m reasons I suppose).

Greenwood would tear the Bundesliga more than Sancho does.

what is the point of this hypothetical?
I am curious that is all. I don't think its a ridiculous question. There's no denying that both are exceptional talent whose got a long career ahead of them. It's not as if I asked whom would you choose between Greenwood and Lingard.

Not that I thought Greenwood will become better player than Sancho, but Greenwood is very very talented and Man Utd through and through, money can't buy that.

Its just like asking would you swap Scholes for Zidane.

God no. As good as Sancho is I feel Greenwood has the potential to be a top 5 striker in the world. He's literally got it all and he's 18. We could be looking at a player who scores 30 goals a season across all comps in a few years when fit.

Mason is our future no. 9 and Sancho is a winger. By doing this swap, we’d have to go out and spend £100 million anyways to find a Mason replacement.
