Missed chances, over hit passes, referee.... Stonewall Pen on Lewa and they didn't even review and more.

Amazing lack of quality in final third given players on display. Pressure got to all the forwards ?

What a performance by Neuer, reckon Mbappe onside as ball was played by Bayern player.

So happy PSG mega spending fell to Bayern team that cost less than €100m. Bayern show how it should be done.
Absolutely. That would have counted, so what an absolutely sublime save. I honestly think no other keeper can do that. He’s still the best in the world, and in the running for the best goalkeeper of all time.

Fantastic. The Qatari owner of PSG who is a UEFA rep has to hand Bayern the trophy.

PSG were cute but missing quality. That 222M investment in Neymar didn't do much for them in terms of football. Commercially it was good for them I hope.
Commercially, it was great for them. They've basically established themselves as the Paris fashion house of football clubs, but without anything relevant to the sport to back it up. Clueless celebrities who presumably know very little about football are quite often seen in PSG shirts.

I feel that football has had his pinnacle a couple of years ago. Might be that there was no atmosphere in the stadium, but this game did not feel like a game between champions to me. All the time players on both sides sinking to the ground as if they were struck by lightning, there is a long list of players that I cannot stand (Neymar, Mbappe, Lewandowski, Kimmich and many others), modern 1v1 duel in soccer is getting involved with your body, then trying to make it look like a foul and I could name so much more.

Maybe I am too old for this shit.

So Barca have to pay Pool another 5 million because Coutinho won the CL. Who drafts these contracts, a fecking toddler? How is actually winning it while playing for Barca not part of it.

PSG prove the old adage that at top level football, there is no point creating clear chances unless your strikers can guarantee they will score.

Given the hype and status, Neymar and Mbappe misses are unforgivable, especially when you commit such profligacy against a top level German team.

In the end, PSG didn’t deserve to win, as opposed as Munich playing a blinder and winning the game.
Lewandowski would have scored a hat trick with Neymar or Mbappe's chances tonight.

That's what you could call a victory for football.

Bayern controlled the game despite the referees best efforts and PSG's kick and run tactics.

PSG’s dial remains permanently set to “Liverpool FA Cup Final 96”.

Well deserved for Bayern. Dominated most of this one and for the entirety of the tournament.

The way they play brings back memories of 1999 and before. A simple 4-4-2 with the entire team attacking and defending in tandem. Right down to the last man.

Wingers stay wingers. None of this inverted cutting inside nonsense. They stayed wide and the first priority was to get the ball in the box to the two strikers or beat their defender in doing so. Coman just glided past his fullback beautifully.

Fullbacks also kept the width and none of this coming into midfield nonsense. They were both capable of crossing and kept their defensive discipline at all times.

Two strikers in the box and always occupying the Centrebacks. Worked hard off the ball to win it back and never gave them a chance to build from the back.

Two central midfielders (gasp) dominating and playing direct passes to the wings and upfront as quickly as possible. No need to play 300 back passes to the defence and goalie go keep possession.

Reminds me of a time when we were capable of similar on a weekly basis. Kudos to Bayern for bringing excellent football back to the champs league.
You might not like modern football tactics but Bayern do play with a inverted wingers though. And their set-up is very similar to their 12/13 treble team.
