In the video, when she calls them bro, do they start laughing amongst themselves and say 'she called you bro' to one another.... or am I imagining that?

Harsh if they didn't even bang them.

All the tabloids as you'd imagine.
Enough of that. Did you manage to get your switch? The mario remasters are coming out next week. You should buy them if you got your switch.

This thread has run its course and I’m asking the real important questions here’s

Personally id drop him for first game of season and happen to have Sir Alex walking the halls on the day he's in. Remind him that he can achieve absolutely anything. Fecking about on Snapchat with Phil bloody Foden and two pissed Icelandic twits won't help achieve that.
I'm not sure what I'd do. It would probably depend on Greenwood's attitude when he came back. If it was obvious he knew he'd fecked up and was completely focused I wouldn't leave him out...but he's brought unecessary pressure upon himself so if the attitude isn't spot on then he'd probably need keeping back a bit both to protect him and make it clear where his head needs to be.

If he uses the experience in the right way it'll all be forgotten about before long.

fecking hell, there’s like 7 people with Covid in Iceland
It's the fecking possibility of exposure that's concerning when the entire squad is protected in a bubble. You don't need fecking exposure to multiple people, just one will do.

I understand people saying they are young and made a mistake, but at the same time it's a serious lack of professionalism and extremely foolish. They are away with the national team (first call ups I think?) for a period of a week or so, there is a worldwide pandemic and they are asked to stick to guidelines for the well being of not only themselves, but literally everyone else too. They are 18 and 20, not 14/15.

Not arsed at all about them having lasses into their room, couldn't care less about that. But to go against strict guidelines in place for everyone and knowing what has been going on in the world for 6 months now, it really is stupid to do this. Can imagine both the England set up and United being really disappointed in both of them.
This exactly

So, what will Man United do?

A, Nothing.
B, Quiet word/bollocking from OIe to smarten him up but nothing public.
C, Public statement of some sort.
D, Fine
E, Dropped.
What about

F. Share the contact with the rest of the boys, particularly horny Walker.
G. Sit through a lecture on how to date girls in future. This is Mama San no., her girls will shut up and not talking to the press.
H. Have a chat with Rooney, he knows a thing or 2 about safe night out
J. Get a golf lesson from Bale. You should score against Denmark, not Iceland. Wrong hole get you penalty

Telegraph with the headline "Southgate trusted them, but they embarassed him in return"

Key in the GoT Red Wedding background score.

Ok, yes. Hopefully he learns. He’s certainly been taught a lesson! As I said earlier, I’d rather he feck up for England than United. So a good lesson at England’s expense is no harm done really.
This is exactly how i feel.
Hopefully he learns from this episode and understand that he can easily throw a fantastic career away due to some bad decisions.

Iceland has a population of 364,134. I'm surprised it was so easy for them to meet girls or strangers so easily and invite them back to their hotel like that. Apparantely, I heard everyone knows everyone there.

Let's not be too harsh on Mason- he is just a kid and the temptation was clearly to much. I seem to remember Rooney doing similar stuff when he was young- let's hope Mason's bird hasn't started drawing her pension yet!
The cheating isnt the issue. Covid-19 is.
If he needs to isolate now, he cant play the first game of the season.

Even at 18/19 of age he should understand more in times like this

Why would he need to isolate when there are only 80 active covid cases in Iceland. Can someone explain how this protective bubble works in football? How is Lingard and Maguaire ok to train with the rest of the team after coming back from holidays but Mason needs to self isolate after meeting 2 girls in a country where there are virtually no cases.

Don't think there are exclusive rules for every nation, depending on Covid cases there. The team follows a strict internal circle which they must keep. If they meet someone outside of it when with the squad, off they go. It doesn't really matter if they met 2 random girls or 2 childhood friends in their hotel rooms.

Is that rule in effect for entire season?

It is if you have a missus and kid at home. On a more serious note let's hope the lads didnt forget to use protection and avoided encountering an STD or something much more serious.

It's amazing that you think being 18 that we should excuses rule breaking behavior. Especially when that behavior is endangering not only their lives but other people too.
It's amazing that you come away from that thinking I'm excusing it.

Should we cut them some slack? Nope. Discipline them accordingly, Fine / Reprimand / Dropped under Conduct unbecoming of NT player / Unprofessionalism / Rule breaking
Big deal, boys will be boys, but the rules are rules. Discipline them, and move on.
They're being dropped, not jailed / imprisoned. Let's not pretend that the FA aren't being considerate

Iceland has 80 active cases, that's why Mason/Foden are quarantined. To protect Iceland, not England NT.

Their country, their rules. It wasn't their fault our boys are horny

I didn't think of it that way and it makes sense why England FA apologised to Iceland. If that's the case than the girls should also get as much criticism as these two tbh, especially in their media.

What are they guilty off? Roaming around their own city?
Meeting with people who are supposed to be in quarantine. They clearly knew that they had to be sneaked in based on the video that was leaked.

This is embarrassing, you want to attribute the blame on 2 Iceland women?

Like seriously?
Not for Greenwood and Foden's behaviour which put their team at risk but the blame for putting Iceland under risk which you alluded to in earlier should be shared by all four IMO.

Stop twisting my words mate.
So what you're saying is that the 2 chicks should also be penalized?

I asked : what wrong have they done?

You says : They should know better not to interact with our 2 boys?

Correct me where I'm wrong?

How are they wrong for meeting up with someone who wasn't supposed to be meeting them in the first place?

Maybe stop twisting everything and simply accept that our boys are being stupid.

I'm saying they should be somewhat criticised if they knew they were meeting someone who's supposed to be in quarantine. I know they may have plausible deniability and can say they didn't know but based on the video they were asking them whether they can sneak them into the hotel room so, I think they knew but decided to go anyway. If they didn't know at all then obviously they shouldn't be criticised. Basically the premise of my argument is if I sneak into a hotel to meet someone who's in quarantine, Should I bear any responsibility or is the person sneaking me in the only person to blame?

Slightly off track, but Mbappe now tested positive for Covid, isn't he meant to be in a biosecure bubble? How has he contracted it???

They can have no complaints, being 18 is no excuse when you are in a senior squad. You are either mature enough to be there or not. These two are clearly not.

They have no rightly been dropped from the English squad, that should be the end of the matter.
