VAR is being used properly. It’s a miracle!

Can't believe it took them a whole season to do something obvious like this. But better late than never. Yellow was fair.

For his innumerable sins, can we put it on record that Jon Moss has made maybe the most reasonable VAR decision in England so far (no doubt lots typing same at the moment).

Glad to see this screen system being used for VAR finally. I think we can expect even better use of VAR this season.

Never a red.

Walker-Peters was leaning back at the point his foot made contact. If his momentum was being carried through his high foot, then it would have been different. As it was, there was minimal force in the challenge.

You can't claim it was either reckless or malicious. A bit late and a bit high, yes, but that's why it's only a yellow.

Because he's been allowed to use the pitch-side monitors, unlike last year when the refs were told not to for some stupid reason. I agree though, credit to him actually getting the decision right.

The fact BT's ex referee comes in and supports the red shows they support the on field ref no matter what. Egg on his face.

Dermot Gallagher will always agree with the referee's decision, regardless of the evidence. Both before and after the referee changes his mind.

What's the fecking point of having him in the commentary box if he won't give his own opinion?

Dermot Gallagher on BT might be the perfect description of 'waste of space'. No point whatsoever.

3-1 win for Liverpool. Leeds will take a shock lead. Liverpool will equalize in first half injury time, and then score in the last 15 minutes.

What a goaaaaal by Kalvin Phillips, advantage Leeds. Liverpool is shite, they are not getting CL spot at the end of the season.

Leeds starting young CB who played 5 times for them last season, going to be quite a test for him.

Not surprised to see Fabinho dropped. He’s looked half arsed in pre season. Apparently he’s also going to be our fourth choice CB.
