He plays left wing or centre forward for Wolves. So by United's logic he could play right wing.
Yeah he has played as a striker too so could cover that role. Although mainly striker in a 2 man attack.
I think it would be best if we bought someone that normally played right wing though.
Still if we can stop Pool from getting him it might be worth it ;).

As suspected the window only really heats up with weeks to go.

Not surprised Liverpool would be more interested in him than Adama. Much more to his game and more likely to offer something higher up the table.

Literally nothing that suggests we are in for him.
Not saying we are, someone asked if he could be a right wing option. Which is a position he has played once for Wolves in his three seasons which came in the Championship, from a quick scan.

So no he isn't a right wing option, just like Dan James isn't as he is more comfortable from the left. But we love playing players in weird positions so why not.

Oh okay, fair enough.

Your point is spot on in respects to positional play. We are the only club who cannot find a RW. It seems like that position is cursed.

Liverpool in advanced negotiations for him, £35m as per Paul Joyce.

You just know it would have been £75m RATED PORTUGAL STAR Diogo Jota if United were after him.
Probably, I don't think he's that good personally, not really arsed about this one. I'll still stick the thread on ignore after they've signed him though, mind.

How the feck are we able to shell that out for Diogo Jota but couldn't pay a bit more for Werner.

Good player imo but not sure a back-up is worth £35m in these times.

Maybe because of the wages?

This is the type of signing I would stand behind. Liverpool's recruitment going from strength to strength.

I’ll be stunned if he leaves for 35 million. Not sure why Wolves would do that. Along with Jiminez, he’s their most important attacker. Scored back to back hattricks last year. Just breaking into Portugal first XI as well.

Apparently this guy is very reliable for Wolves stuff.

Which one of their current players are Liverpool going to have to sacrifice to the gods to make it happen this time?

Impossible. They were on the verge of having to use tax payers money to furlough their staff just a few short months ago.

I think this is being funded via player sales. We're looking to raise 35 million from Brewster and Hoever being sold.

Good depth for them, much better than Xhaqiri/Minamino IMO. Annoying watching them make so many signings that make sense. Not all signings work out of course, but everything making sense is 1 way of making the transition to their new roles easier at least.

I'd guess Wolves replace him with Sarr who would probably be a pretty seemless transition.

Surely that money should be going towards keeping staff employed?!
