Kimmich in CM is so good that they wouldn’t miss Thiago at all. Germany should be playing him there instead of wasting him at RB

The current Bayern team would do that in every league.
Well, they did that to Barca, so... good point. People shouldn't judge the entire league based on one team (or game even). Time will come that Bayern gets a draw against a relegated team and count themselves lucky to not have lost it. We all know it's gonna happen in a post-CL win season.

I see the weight of last seasons success is hanging heavy on Bayern’s shoulders

Have Schalke given up or just being a total disgrace? How can a team lose by 8 goals when both teams play in the same division? I know someone is going to quote me on United beating Ipswich 9-0 but it’s just shocking

Will not happen....he had talks with Southgate last month.
Bugger, Low has an attitude of not chasing youngsters who have dual nationalities. I remember many years back there was Gideon Zelalem from Arsenal who was deciding between USA and Germany and Low couldn't care less.

Musiala looks great though, hope Low tries something to entice him given he's born and raised in Germany (uptil 8). We are really lacking quality youngsters coming up, the last batch of great youngsters is from the 95'-96' group (Werner, Sane, Gnabry, Goretzka, Sule, Brandt etc) but they are already in their mid 20's.

Kimmich was so good, just the perfect midfielder. Amazing passing, 2 assists and could have had more. Absolutely love him, up there with KdB as one of the midfielders today.

Awesome machine, this current Bayern. And no sign of slowing down. Should really have crowned it with a Balon d'Or for Lewa. Shocking decision to scrap that, given the season actually concluded.

Well, in the Bundesliga aswell. Bayern will not win every single game. And is not always playing against Schalke.
Maybe but I don't think you've got the likes of Dyche who's happy to boot you into row Z as well as Pep's cheats

Wasn't he RB until Pep recognised his talents at CM/DM?
I think he played mostly midfield when coming through the ranks to the senior teams and started playing RB regularly for Bayern to stuff the hole Lahm had left, but I could be wrong.

He was played at RB because of Lahm retiring and Bayern not having any replacement in place (other than Rafinha). Kimmich always played at CM/DM before he joined Bayern.

Hell, he played at CB at one point under Pep because of injuries. Pep honestly did a lot in developing Kimmich's overall game, Kimmich looked quality even playing out of position.
