He’s available, all the talk is just bluster and posturing. If Dortmund would accept €120m then they wouldn’t say no to an offer of €119m either, nor €118m.... of course at some point they would say no and its up to us to find that snapping point.

Not having a go, but its amazing how other than getting him for less that 120m we’ve screwed the pooch? I mean there always two parties at a negotiation table. Could it be possible that Dortmund themselves have muddied the water for Utd? By not dealing directly with us and rather through these intermediaries.
Its this “get him at any cost” mentality our fan base display that Dortmund can use to pressure Utd.
I‘m frustrated by our transfer strategy as much as the next fan, but its also extremely disingenuous to place such strict reactions to certain outcomes. If we get him, great. If we don’t and find a reasonable alternative, thats also good. Of course, if we don’t do any business whatsoever, with the way the mood around our fan base is, we are already starting this season on the backfoot. All the positivity that was built after the lockdown will be eroded away, and we fans are to blame for that just as much as Woodward and Co.

No. And it's not even true in england either. Transfer requests are usually done for the benefit of the selling club. No agent worth his salt would let his client agree to that

Quite. He elaborated on his sources in a Norwegian podcast a few days ago. He was clear that he has a few sources directly involved with Manchester United, but that Ole is not one of them. He also made it clear that he has no connections in Germany, so any news on his part are from us (or completely made up, I guess, but never from Dortmund).
I like Dortmund's stance here it makes sense. They're happy to keep him for another year and know they'll get a good price next year anyway - with still two years left on his deal. But also they know Jadon wants the move so they've set a price and they're sticking to it - it's a very fair approach.

The only reason I can think of is to spare some cash for another signing, Alex Telles by the looks of it. Supposedly we’ve offered Porto £10m and are reluctant to go any higher, that’s where that extra £8m is going imo.
He said they don't have transfer requests. Which I guess mean an actual system of a document you can turn in to help force a transfer. Pretty sure you can still "hand in a transfer request" by saying you would want to go, and possibly at the same time say you are willing to forfeit certain things owed from your contract to make it happen.
As for loyalty bonus, pretty sure he recently got a bonus for staying for 12 months from his last contract was signed plus 10 England caps.
