Although we were poor, does anyone think Neville was way over the top in saying “Arsenal absolutely deserve the win”?

Their only goal was a penalty in which Bellerin was going nowhere, and apart from that they hit the bar from outside the box and had a couple of half chances.

Arsenal didn’t create enough chances for that kind of praise. Disappointing performance from us but a point would’ve been fair based on chances created.

Fuming. A game that 30 mins in and its glaringly obvious that what we are trying to do isn’t working.

OGS doesn’t make suitable changes at half time. Still, after a further 25 mins of tumescent football no progressive changes are made.

It took him at least 15 mins of second half to decide Matic for Fred!....Really

Restored to Matic diving for a penalty, Maguire diving for a penalty. Seriously. It’s pathetic.

Arsenal with Elneny in midfield dominated us in the middle of the park. Elneny.

Fred, Matic, McTominay aren’t good enough if we’re honest. Sure they can press and destroy but utterly clueless with the ball at their feet. Not helped by Pogba being woeful, Bruno being woeful.

And when we’re chasing a goal, he takes Greenwood off.

Surely a front 3 of Rashford, Cavani, Greenwood would have been a better option.

I’m not OGS out. Far from it. I think he’s building a decent squad and his man management appears to be fine. He really struggles with in game management. Like he has a plan (including subs) and regardless of how the game plays out he sticks to that plan
took us to concede for him to get off the bench

He does well one game, rubbish another. To be honest, always been the story with Ole. Anyone who is surprised is delusional. Ole is a poor manager, always has been and always will be. 15th is where we deserve to be, another pathetic performance from Ole.

Pogba should have been pulled at half and I was yelling at the TV to get him off well before he gave away the penalty.
The second the commentator said this would be settled by a mistake you just knew it! That and the constant mentions of that City away.

Hire another manager for the league, keep Ole on for the champions league. The only way to resolve this.

We forgot how to pass, it seems. Arsenal worked hard and were good value, but we were playing in blind alleys.

Also, the subs were awful.

Arsenal have such obvious weaknesses yet when the onus is on us to win we bottle it. Pogba an absolute disgrace to the shirt.

Sixth consecutive home game in the Premier League without a win. Southampton, West Ham, Palace, Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal.

Simply not good enough. We looked utterly clueless all over the pitch. None of the players had any idea about what to do.

No matter how much we change our formation or personnel, we're still only a threat on the counter, against a high defensive line.

Crap, need a goal & Bruno & Greenwood are two players you would want on the pitch, why take them off

Begs the question; are Leipzig that bad or are United that inconsistent?

Bad football match. Had a hunch it would be a 0-0 affair like Chelsea and it was playing out like that until Pogba's stupidity. Don't think a 0-0 would be a lot better. It would be one point better but in my mind I'd consider it a loss.

Players have a mental block in them sometimes. Today they were just poor. McTominay and Greenwood never got into the game, Pogba and Fred were poor and Bruno was in lockdown. Arsenal defended comfortably (so did we).

Never looked like scoring. Not even when we were supposedly turning on the pressure.

Tactically appalling - the point in having a bench is to change things around, instead we persisted with a diamond which wasn’t working.

Taking Bruno off ahead of Pogba - who is more likely to win you a game?

Pogba made more of a contribution to the game than normal - giving away a penalty. At least he had an impact. Contributes so little to his actual team though.

The inconsistency in this side just continues. Everytime we get a good result we lose an absolute stinker.

We got the tactics wrong today. We had no attacking intent. We were MUCH too respectful of arsenal. Incredible that we didn't play a more attacking lineup and press them.

Pogba will get the blame, but he did work hard today albeit didn't do shite on that left wing. Fred was horrific as is the case every other match. McTominay limited. The defence was actually doing well but our fullbacks can't attack or support the attack.

I feel sorry for the forwards who just look so starved of the ball.

We were chasing shadows at OT and we didn't make any adjustments. That was on Ole.

I don't see how we are getting top four from here unless we perform yet another miracle run like last season. Why is it that our players just can't play consistent football!? I've been asking myself this for years now.

The sad thing is, the board probably won't back OGS this summer either. We won't get Sancho or the central midfielders we require.

Waiting until the 80th minute before you start playing is never a recipe for success, and we do this game after game it seems. That drive shown during the last fifteen minutes, that should be the case all along. Arsenal was at it from start, they deserved no less than three points from this. Why do we need to be on the brink of failure before our players wake up?

Also, Pogba. I still don't get him, what the point of him is and to be honest I doubt he does as well. And Maguire needs to practice his headers. He's incredibly bad at it considering how often he does it. If he could hit a barn from point blank, we'd have an additional eight to ten goals since his arrival.

Hmm This is really starting to be a problem. I was somewhat positive because of the CL performances and progress it showed but this was utter shite.

Excellent performance from Arsenal.
Painful - We simply cannot pass between lines out of the back 4.

The glaring issues IS The Fridge that is Maguire.
If you want to play out from the back your CBs have to be able to pass over or between the lines.

I guarantee if you analyse the full match, the sheer amount of time Maguire and to a lesser extent Lindelof spent on the ball with no end product was astonishing. Like treacle.

Put simply, Tuanzebe better get his boots strapped up because he's the only one that can break this impasse when we are pressed high.

The final surge failure is down to the above and Ole's reluctance to do away with teh double pivot. Keep McTominay on and Greenwood on, Matic was redundant.

Again: Maguire sadly is the root of our issues. Ball goes back and he cannot be quick enough in thought, vision or passing.

Mike Dean. As if its not hard enough to win without the referee being absolute garbage. Greenwood takes the ball AND the defender, gets a yellow. Arsenal defenders takes Matic AND ball, nothing. Clear penalty. Gabriel should have been given a second yellow, nothing. You can't win games when the referees works against you. At least not when our team is crap at the same time.

Pogba is useless. Creates nothing, and a huge liability defending. McTominay offers nothing. I don't care how much he runs.

We barely had a chance against a centre back combo of Gabriel and Holding.
I think that is criminal.

Gabriel should've been sent off with a second yellow for his foul on Greenwood. Utter inconsistency from the ref.

Let's just blame the players, I mean surely the coaches are not this incompetent?

Some of our so called fans really need to wake up and smell the coffee...we are 15th and heading South, Ole will NEVER bring any success to this team.

The difference today was the managers and their coaching style.

Wouldnt it be nice to see a utd team consistently play well and take the games to the opposition.

We must be the most inconsistent team ever...looked dynamite mid week and rudderless tonight. Other than the Greenwood shot in the first half I can’t recall us testing Leno. That one will take some time getting over!

Grim. There's no huge shame in actually losing to Arsenal, but the performance was horrific. The way this team flip-flops between the sublime and the ridiculous never fails to amaze.

Well that was a waste of two hours. Few thoughts.

Arsenal 100% deserved that victory. Even without the penalty they were much the better team and the only team that really looked like scoring.

None of our players came out of that match with any credit. There was absolutely nothing in that performance at all. We showed nothing out there. Pogba, who is my favorite player at United right now, had arguably one of his worst games in our shirt today. Fred and Mctominay really should not be on the field at the same time. It should always be one of them with Matic. I said this a few games back and I'll say it again, at this point we have nothing to lose by giving VBD a starting position.

Maybe the diamond isn't actually the answer.

And last but not least, we are 15TH in the league right now! Six rounds of games have been played and we're in FIFTEENTH with a GD of -4. Whether you consider United a title chasing club, or a spent force that just chases top 4, a start like this is completely ridiculous, and you can't say that we don't deserve to be there either.

Arsenal first win away at home in 30 attempts against a top 6. Good record for us to break /sarcasm

Performance wise, we looked clueless. No penalty, var, or crazy mistake to help Ole out today

Second half was better. And this only serves to emphasise just how utterly shite the first half was. Truly one big tactical fail.

Was pretty much a stalemate apart from a soft penalty. It’s a point lost rather than three.

I wouldn’t read anything into the performance or the result. However, seven points from six games is truly horrid.

The club, the squad and the team are all going the right way. But this run of results is the type that primes a board to pull the trigger. I love Ole but he is clinging on a bit here.

Watching Man Utd is like wasting 2hrs of my life for the last few years. After being smash by Tottenham, our manager decided that to be top 4 is to protect the back 4. Putting players who cannot attack into XI. Ole, you're disgraceful to the club where attacking is our DNA. Please resign ASAP! I doubt you can beat Everton, Southampton, Leicester, Wolves and etc. Joke!

Another boring game where we just cancelled each other out, roll of the dice went arsenal's way today. We started the season way too open, now we are way too conservative. What a difference a winger in the summer might have made so we don't just have to play James or 4 CMS just cos martial is injured. But summer has come and gone, ole needs to go back the other way and find a way to play more positively without the defence falling to pieces

Pogba sabotaged the team. Saw that penalty a mile away, as soon as he started "tracking back" the fullback. I knew he'd dive in.

Absolute moron.
