So what's the motivation behind this attack? Just to show they can wreak some havoc in one of Europe's main capital cities?
Video of a poor guy smoking a cigarette with nowhere to go, just mowed down with an assault rifle, then casually finished off a couple of minutes later with a pistol.

Yeah I thought about mentioning the 20 students gunned down in Kabul today, but the terror attacks in the middle east and Africa barely register as news here and thought I'd be labelled an islamophobe for mentioning them. I don't know if it's coordinated, but ISIS is for sure trying to stir up a global war between muslims and non-muslims.

The 6 locations are very close to other (couple of hundred meters) and appear to all be the same shooter(s) on foot walking through the center. Wien is a very compact city.

Not sure if it is easy, especially with how prevalent they are nowadays. I reckon 99 percent of the world condemn these attacks so why doesn't such an overwhelming majority stomp out such sickening atrocities?
Nothing lasts forever though so I'm absolutely confident that eventually these sorts of attacks will be a depressing remnant of a brief period in human history.
