Saw that live on CNN and was infuriated at that suggestion. The ironic thing was that he had just said that you shouldn't expect any different from Trump other than wanting to put a bullet in the democracy after many years of documented behavior. The enablers in the GOP were the ones that let him do that. A GOP senate would have no interest in working on anything and would just look to run the clock down.

Josh Stein is the Attorney General and likely the second most popular politician in NC after Roy Cooper. He's been a great AG and has busted his ass over opioids, the environment, etc. It remains to be seen if he will run in 2022 to replace Burr or for governor in 2024 (my guess). Jeff Jackson would be a solid candidate for 2022.

Looks like PA is going to be the main swing state, if Biden carries that, as well as Michigan and the other obvious blues, it would take a mental turnaround for Trump.
