I don’t think we need a “rebuild” of players. Ole has done a good job of getting rid of a lot of deadwood and we now have a talented squad that is massively underperforming and generally inconsistent.
If the fun of form carries on much longer, I expect Ole will be gone.

Much like Poch, I'm not entirely sure he's the right man.
Every single time we get a confidence boost from a big game result it falls apart instead of us kicking on. There's absolutely no consistency in our play. He has to go.
Knee jerk still a popular phrase for some reason. The only knee jerking that's gone on are from people who thought Ole should have gone after Spurs who then flipped on a dime after the PSG and/or Leipzig games, because they've learned nothing about our usual trajectory under Ole. Flatter to deceive when we're the massive underdogs, and then get played off the park by Palaces and Brightons.
It's really not that complicated understanding how people have responded to those two big European wins and all the other big defeats. Like I said after the Spurs game, Ole had 5 massive fixtures after the Newcastle game - PSG, Chelsea, Leipzig, Arsenal and Everton - that would define whether he deserved the chance to see another transfer window. We did great then poor then amazing then diabolical. We've been atrocious again today, a game everyone thought would be a formality regardless of Ole in/out, and then who knows what we'll see against Everton. But if it's a repeat of tonight and the weekend Ole thoroughly deserves to be sent packing. I can't see how any genuine United fan could argue differently.

We have a talented squad on paper, but we have very few complete players, there's way too many if's and buts surrounding our top players and I dont think you can build a team around a spine of players that have glaring individual weaknesses to the degree ours have that have to be compensated for.

Ups and downs matter little in the context of where we finish when season ends. That will decide Ole's fate and tbf doesn't look good for him atm.
Why are you looking at isolated phases to justify him? He had 66 points and has made a diabolical start to this season. Don't cherry pick phases that suit you.

Has he? Maguire, Wan Bissaka, and James are awful fits for any manager we will want to bring in. I think the signings have been pretty poor for the future.
It is sad how low we have reached this season. I thought we would not win the league, but at least start strongly after the end to last season.
Not watching the game. Is he sat slumped in his seat looking bored? So his team is playing rubbish and he doesn't think he should perhaps try and instruct his players? What a great manager 
Win or lose, I think this should be the death knell; we're not a well coached team outside of defensive set-ups intended for counter-attacking.

I think there needs to be acceptance that Ole has gone as far as he is capable of; we can't wing a whole season like this and expect anything good to come of it - pull the plug now and there is still plenty a new manager can do with the campaign.

I was never ole in in the first place. Forget united, I can’t see him managing any of the PL teams.
Yep, he shouldn't even be here after the start of last season. Would any other big club have stuck with him with that form after spending over £140m? No chance.

Sadly it won't. We're fecking incompetent so we will probably wait until we miss out on CL places next year. I'm resigned to this outcome sadly.

You're not though. I'm looking at him 2 years in and think 66 points was not good enough in standalone expectation, but relatively gets him time (lucky man to see Arsenal and Tottenham change manager mid season with Chelsea transfer banned). And now I think the time he bought from last season has run out. I'm excluding nothing.

Bit worrying how random his subs are. We got a bit of control prior to Cavani and Pogba. Id have taken one of VDB/Mata off but instead we have Martial Rashford and Cavani doing feck all while Pogba and Fernandes do hollywood stuff

Fair enough then. I don't agree with you but that's OK. But you understand people can have different views (some that will probably change after months of good/bad performance but anyway..) so the 66% isn't that alarming.
Haven’t created a chance in the second half despite having plenty of the ball under little pressure. Ole’s lack of coaching nous is really being highlighted here, such a winnable game.
I can only think anyone still Ole in doesn't watch the games anymore.
He's had nearly 2 years to imprint his identity on the team, but we currently don't even get the basics right. He is out of his depth. The squad is in a better shape than when he came, now move him on.
I really do not see what he has bought in that any other manager couldn't. He never seems to have a style of play or anything. Just really good at his PR in his interviews

That's the definition of knee jerk. But here's me:
• Thought it was an awful appointment even as caretaker, hoped for someone like Blanc.
• Was surprised at the honeymoon but wanted to wait the season out, thought giving him a contract after it went to shit was beyond idiotic.
• Was disgusted by the post honeymoon and by the start of the 2019-2020 campaign.
• By mid-December I'd decided he needed fecking off.
• Once that didn't happen and results picked up especially with the Bruno bounce, I thought we had no choice but to give him the Summer and to start another season. Massive doubts remained for my part but that second half of the season gave him the benefit of the doubt.
• To start this season worse than last, with a better squad and now 2 years in the role, well... let's just say it'd take some turnaround now for me to give him the benefit of any doubt.

There's still no defined system and we change formation on an almost weekly basis, after 2 years you have to see a consistent level of performance and we don't, never have, just spells of form followed by spells of shite.

That has literally been ever single game since he came in. His in game management and tactical nous is Sunday league level. I cannot remember him altering tactics mid game and thinking yeah he has identified the problem and dealt with it swiftly. Just doesn't have it in him.

I like Ole as a person and think he is a decent honest man, I just wonder if we actually get coached? We have no system i can see.
There is nothing knee jerk about your assessment. You can tell he has no legs to stand on because his examples of Ole is isolated to suit the argument, rather than looking at the entire picture of his tenure here as you've done.
Ranieri was sacked in February, the season after winning the league with Leicester ffs. He had lost 23 games in total and this will be Ole's 25 defeat tonight. And some are talking about keeping a Manchester United manager on for 'achieving' third place.

Think he's gone is we lose this and on Saturday. We're blowing a golden chance to solidify top spot in a hard CL group. Our league form is horrid and most sides now expect to beat us at home.

Teams know that if you don't give us an opportunity to play in behind then we have no idea how to create chances. They also know we're extremely susceptible to being countered.

I want Ole gone now, have started turning games off early now because of him. He has disappointed me (and surely millions of other United fans) several evenings now, maybe I'm too emotionally attached to this club, but thanks to Ole many days have been ruined because of his shite team selection and shite tactics. I'm done.
