Did you do this because you filter out unavailable players from your squad? Nearly just did the same with Martial.I managed to leave Bruno out of the Champions League squad in September because he was injured
Yeah I always have 'Unavalable' and 'Not at club' on as I hate having a cluttered squad screen.
Can't stand having more than 20-25 players in my first team. Drives me mad when I watch some streamer and they're scrolling through millions of players!
Yeah I’m the same. How do you set it so that under 23s and 18s are available for your next match? For example sometimes I’ll want to play Hannibal but he’ll be tired from already playing for the 23s. Is it just to add him to the first team squad? Cause I don’t want to keep moving him in and out of it.
I just have it set so they ask me before every 23/18’s match.
Or alternatively just do “available for 30/45 minutes”
United is ridiculously overrated ingame. By far the best English team and I've seen screenshot's of the AI finishing the season unbeaten.
We’ve been good on FM for years. I personally think we’re just badly underperforming in reality and the attributes our players have in game are pretty accurate.
We’re definitely not the best team in the league ingame either IMO. City have the best squad followed by Liverpool and Chelsea.

Wolves were the team last year, they were a nightmare to play and with a few good signings they could win the league no problem.

With his recent form, you might see some downgrades to Pogba. There's been much calls for that in the forum.
Already a few skins out but none that look amazing. I want new kits.

It’s not me being objective it’s the professional scouts and researchers that help build the database. It’s pretty accurate. Not 100% but very good.
In terms of performance or attributes? In terms of attributes, he's still World Class.
I imagine he's got a hidden downgrade to consistency and Important matches, but physically he's a monster and couple that with his technicals and he is still very World Class.

He has moments of good performance but largely underperformed for me. Granted it was a small test over one season but I could count on one hand the amount of times he did something exceptional.
Researchers are club fans and season ticket holders, anyone can apply when the position is open. Last season they had lot of openings but you should be season ticket holder to apply for that position. These researchers posts on SI forum too and they alter attributes based on fans input if fans present it well and in meaningful way.
I'm aware, I personally think 90-95% of the data is fairly accurate. Of course there are things that are debatable but on the whole I would say they do a very good job in capturing player attributes accurately.
If that's the case, I'm going to sell him at the end of the first. Will wait to see how he performs for me as I still had him being a key player in all my previous saves before.

I'm only about 6 games in but he's been horrible for me. I tried to sell him but no one was interested. He's benched at the moment and I'll look again next summer at shifting him.
Greenwood has been a monster for me, though. He just netted 4 goals against Palace before I turned it off last night.
Kind of pissed off with the Board interference. I tried selling Fred and had agreed a 23m deal. The Board vetoed it saying they wouldn't sell for less than 25m. I tried talking to them but still nope. Seems a tad unrealistic over 2m. Same happened with Matic. I could have gotten 12m for him but they wouldn't sell for less than 13.5m.

Not sure if a bug or just the game being shit but I offer out Fosu-Mensah. It says Swansea don't want to offer more than £2.1m, so I offer him out for £2.1m and it says 'Swansea don't want to offer more than £2.1m'.
Bug. I had a transfer one very early on where I got a bid for Lingard and Romero and I accepted both offers and it just got stuck at that stage until the window shut a month later.

Yeah I agree with that. They do excellent job at scouting.
Yeah even in previous versions if you see the attributes, none of them are overpowered, even De Gea was nerfed in last version and players like Maguire, Shaw are all just average english players as per attributes in FM. Somehow as a team we are OPed.
Just looking at the stats, Fred is nothing special, if anything he is underrated in the game. McT is slightly overrated, Pogba has been nerfed and he has average stats, Rashford and Martial stats are nothing special either. I feel Rashford is underrated in this version.
Mata, Matic have poor physical stats, Bailly mental stats are very poor, unfit to be a CB, same with Jones with his lack of composure.
I don't see any player being very overpowered but as a team we always do well on FM.
Finished up last night one point from automatic promotion spots with Sunderland with 7 games to go, was on a very good run off form. Started back on it today, and have got about 3 points from my 7 games today. Haven't changed much in terms of tactics, so that's very weird.
And just got sacked. I'm tempted to go back a few weeks and pick up from a save at that point.

That's a common misconception. CPU teams aren't static in how they approach games against you, the better or worse you're doing the more defensive or attacking they approach games against you.
Been like this for a few years now. United are always way more consistent than city, quite bizarre really.
First time I’ve bought the game in a few years and feeling overwhelmed by the options! What do you guys assign to your staff to look after? Or more to the point, what do you handle yourself?
