Think Di Maria is out of form, and Keane is a more target man/box player which could be smart.
    I would have gone:

    Kean
    Neymar-----------------------------Mbappé
    di María

    Verratti-------Danilo

    Bakker Kimpembe Marquinhos Florenzi

    Navas

Quite fancy us tonight. Either start off defensively and try and contain them and catch them on the counter or we try and come out of the blocks quick and get off the mark early.

Losing out on the title to Monaco was bad, but Emery has a good body of work from his time at Almería, Valencia and Sevilla. And is doing pretty well at Villarreal this season.

La Liga might be his playground. He failed in Russia and then also England after an okay spell at PSG.

I do think, like Moyes, he suffered from directly replacing an iconic and legendary manager at Arsenal. He even went on a 22 game unbeaten run at one stage, which shows you that people shouldn't get carried away with Ole.
Every post of yours always finds its way to ole out.
I think you might be obsessed.

Slightly more defensive than I expected, which is weird.

Bakker offers more in attack than Diallo at LB.

di María could have played at CM with Verratti and Danilo Pereira offering enough protection to make that work.
Having gone so long without encountering this surname I have now seen it thrice in a week (Southampton, Atalanta now PSG)

The club has missed out on all the talented Dembeles so it's good to see we are getting a Diallo of our own.

PSG need to win this. So being a little cautious at first might backfire if we take the lead.

But yeah, Neymar can win a game on his own when in the mood. And Mbappé can terrorise any defence if given enough space to work with. He's been a little off his game in recent weeks, though. Kean has been good for them since signing. He was even decent against us when subbed on a few weeks ago.

The main worry is the inclusion of Verratti (2nd most important player after Neymar) and Marquinhos who is a big upgrade at CB. He can even play DM, but it doesn't appear that way for this. He dominated Pogba at OT in 2019. One of the best man marking exhibitions that I have ever seen. But Pogba is pretty much a non factor these days. Unless he makes a surprise start tonight. Highly unlikely.
How do you predict the game to play out?

I think it's clear now that most teams are afraid of us, and are going to try to be pragmatic against us. It's up to us to adapt to that reality.

By the time our game starts, PSG will know the result of the Leipzig game, and that could put even more pressure on them. Fingers crossed

According to RMC, PSG will line up like this tonight

    ----------------------------------------------Navas-------------------------------------------
    Florenzi-----------------Marquinhos-----Kimpembe--------------------Diallo
    ---------------------------------------------Danilo--------------------------------------------
    -----------------------------------Paredes--------Verratti-------------------------------
    Neymar---------------------------------Kean-----------------------------------Mbappe

Just two question on this. It may be a 442 diamond with Neymar in 10, and Mbappe Keane upfront.
And it can also be Danilo as CB and Marqui in midfield.
Just note that the snake is not starting :D

Leipzig winning would put pressure on them, is that what you mean?
If Tuchel is not too crazy, he's going to isolate his team and forbid them to look at their phone. He needs to know, the players don't. Go for the win no matter what? But who knows.

It is so annoying that we couldn't at least draw in Istanbul. Had we done that, then this would have been a great opportunity to rest and rotate players. Instead I am probably going to be biting finger nails throughout this or throwing something at the TV.

I think Neymar has a free role potentially and therefore, he needed Kean to provide a presence upfront?
Neymar to overload the midfield is going to be interesting.
We need to see how we counter this.

Actually this line up will provide more defensive balance to face our counter attacks with Kimpembe, Marqui, Diallo, Danilo and potentially Paredes too, when in the first game, we exposed them too easily.

Think that they will have the balls and will be higher on the pitch than the first game.

Looks really a tricky one. Neymar will just go inside everytime, try to pass but if we are close enough it will be fine.

My biggest issues will be on set pieces and the fact that Verratti is back. We absolutely need to press him, as he can't play more than 60 mins.

Just need a smart long ball into channels to release Rashford or Martial, but their team tonight will be a very stern test.

Up until this afternoon I was really confident. Then thinking about it, have we ever done anything the easy way ?

Why would you want it ‘easy’?
I love the tension and nerves and when we win such games, the elation is amazing.
Winning games easily is nice but dim!

    AWB - Lindelof - Maguire - Telles
    McTominay - Fred
    VdB - Fernandes - Rashford
    Martial

Subs: Cavani - James - Pogba - Williams
    MUFC 4 - 1 PSG

I think Ole goes for the jugular, knowing PSG have more pressure than we do. We only need 1 point in two games. PSG are in survival mode fighting relegation to the Europa League. Once we get to two goals, they drop.

We could actually qualify before our game tonight. If Istanbul get a win against Leipzig in the 6pm game, then we would qualify. (Unless Leipzig beat us 6-0 in the last game).

One of those games that give me an uneasy stomach.

Don't know what will happen, I feel like we could obliterate them on the counter attack but at the same time I feel like they could cut us to ribbons.

This, we'll make it as difficult for ourselves as possible.

Maguire to give away a penalty in the first minute

Rashford to miss a sitter from 1 yard

    Fernandes penalty miss

I'd go for the win early and sacrifice McT as he may not be healthy, I put the score at 3-2:

    DDG
    AWB - Lindelof - Maguire - Telles
    Fred -VdB
    Martial - Fernandes- Rashford
    Cavani

I presume he'll put VdB on the bench at start McT though - him and Fred have been excellent against PSG.

Dunno, that 8-2 against Arsenal remains one of my favourites to this day. Or the 7-1 against Roma. Easy is nice sometimes.

Every time this team has me feeling confident they blow it. If Mbappe is placed on the right instead of the left this could be brutal.
