This is why we won’t win the Championship League.
Well, this is why we'll be in the Europa League in the spring, to be precise.

We were never going to win the CL anyway. That was never on the cards. But we could have got out of the group and now we managed to feck that up.

That one was on Ole for me. Should of hooked Fred at halftime and still waiting till 70odd minutes to make a change when we have 5 subs and he brings on the least hard working player we have. Shocking.

The moment that Haaland becomes available on his buyout clause, it'll be curtains for Martial being a First team player if we dont turf him by then.
I hope so, I fecking hope so. So tired of this guy's wank effort.

2 Critical errors here:

  1. Keeping Fred on
  2. Going balls to the wall and losing H2H with PSG.

We now have to beat RB Leipzig which completely changes the dynamic.

I'm usually alright with Ole but this was poor from him tonight.

  • Fred should have a word
  • Martial should have a word

Awful performances from both.
Point at RB is enough.

We were brilliant. I know it sounds wierd when we got beat by PSG but game should have been wrapped up long ago. We had controll of the game all the time until red card. And even then we tried.

Fred should have been taken off in HT but his red card is wierd. Nowhere near. Little bit naive from Solskjaer.

Moving on to next game.

Totally. Fred doesn’t have the brains/ restraint to get through the last 45 minutes without lunging into at least one tackle and so it proved. Ole should have hooked him at halftime.

Because as I say a million times on this forum

He. Does. Not. React. Quickly. With. Subs

Seriously, I have had enough explaining how inept he is at game managing and reacting to situations. He got it wrong today
I think he believed we were on the front foot until the goal came.

Wow. Really not sure how to feel about that game.

First 15 PSG looked very good and we looked in for a long night. The players looked nervous, but from that point on we had the belief and the ability to dominate the game and really should have been home and dry. PSG looked beaten. Im thinking at that point how this is another step forwards for the team.

Leaving Fred on was a big mistake. No he shouldnt have been sent off, but really we got 40 extra minutes than we should have, but he had to come off. That was a big gamble that didn't pay off.

Martial was criminal. You cant miss those at this level, but everyone else played well. We bullied them really. We were much the better team.

Massive game next week. I still fancy us quite strongly in Germany, but we do like to make things hard for ourselves dont we

decent performance overall

Fred and Ole both made huge mistakes that cost us the game ultimately

One of them sickening games. We should have put them to bed. Martial, Cavani, even Pogbas volley. Failing that Ole shouldve took fred off at half time.

We weren't terrible as a team in all fairness.

I'm sure they feel the same at this point
We do, I like United but I fecking hate them when they're playing PSG. It makes for fun games with all the feckery that's happened over the last couple of seasons and tonight is no different.

Deflating defeat and puts us on the back foot in the race for the knock out stages, that Istanbul defeat is coming back to bite us in the backside.

Really poor start, Fred should have been sent off early but after we got away with it, we were by far and away the better team and should have put PSG away, Rashford and Cavani were excellent up top. PSG's 2nd was a sucker blow but then Fred gets his just desserts, albeit from an unfair 2nd yellow, then the game is really dead and buried bar a miracle. In the build up to their goal, I think we should some naivety, Rashford who was clearly struggling with his shoulder injury should have gone down to slow the game up when the ball was out of play. Leting PSG get a third is a blow as well because they are ahead on H2H now.

Really fearful we will go out now, it would be gutting based on the start we made to the campaign. Ole has to pull it out of the bag against Leipzig somehow otherwise all that pressure comes back!

I can't believe we've lost that 3-1. It was never a 3-1 loss type of performance outside of the first 15 minutes.
A lesson in taking your chances anyway quite clearly as we through away the game. Especially that Martial chance early in the second half. Cavani hitting the crossbar isn't quite so clear cut but it's fine margins. Where we did make a mistake though is leaving Fred on. He was a walking red card after the first incident. Despite otherwise doing well, he needed to come off. That killed the game for us really. Then going all out for the equaliser has cost the head to head record. Disappointing. Big game next week now.

Hope, We Lose
Shown up in many ways, but also with enough chances that we might have got a point if we were clinical

Europa league it is. Great. Missed chances cost us dear again. Our strikers are pathetic, not good enough

Whilst Missed chances cost us tonight, our woeful showing in Istanbul ultimately may cost us.

A bit unlucky, draw would have been fair. Both sides hit the bar, created openings etc.

Can't believe people were so confident though, even with PSG's form. Tonight they HAD to win, so it was always going to be a tough match. That Istanbul result and performance could really come back to haunt us.

Btw, how did Fred stay on the pitch for so long??? McT did well after the first goal and Cavani really worked hard. Martial was poor :(

Not improving on Martial will be Ole's downfall.

Another bum who goes missing for 2/3 of the season and yet his fanboys will claim he's instrumental to the team when he performs well in 1/3 of the games.
He can only finish when he has time.

We have a really well rounded team now with Cavani in the lineup.

Martial really frustrates the hell out of me.

Ole has to take the blame for leaving Fred on. Good tackle or not, ref was waiting for Fred to do something.

PSG very lucky there, everything went for them on the night.

That being said, criminally negligent by the management team to leave Fred on the pitch. Every man and his dog could see what was coming

Amateur hour from Ole. His use of FIVE subs tonight was naive and embarrassing. To still have Fred on the pitch when he got the 2nd yellow is a dereliction of duty.

Martial needs to sit on the bench for a few games and think about why he’s sat there. Bruno was dross tonight too but even he deserves an off night now and again. Scott McT was very good and did his job well.

I just knew as soon as we lost in Turkey that this team would take it to the last game in Germany. We’re so predictable in that regard.

Meltdown city.

I was getting ready to taste those salty PSG tears, we were cutting through them like nobody’s business.

Those missed chances killed us.

If a player who got booked in the first half can't be trusted to finish the game, the player shouldnt be playing

He got to HT.. had time to relax.. sort himself out.. He got sent off. its on him. Blaming Ole because a player couldnt stay on the pitch is a bit much.

Could have won.. lost.. sucks.. Didn't play too poorly.. Not too upset.. just unnecessary taking it to the last game ..

feck it.

Two steps forward and one step back quite consistently. Progress, but slower than it needs to be. We were right in it, the better team, but Ole cost us tonight. Martial was not at it and needed to come off, Fred was a red waiting to happen after the red that should have happened and taking Cavani off when chasing the game only to later bring a slower, crapper version of him on (Ighalo) was criminal. I don’t normally knock Ole but he can have a bad game, like the players.

I still think we’ll draw with Leipzig and scrape through. We aren’t winning this competition anyway

Can we drop Martial?
Terrible miss but he played three great through balls putting each of rashford, bruno and cavani through on goal, rashford and bruno both make a mess of theirs while cavani hit the bar.

Also martial had a great shot which forced the save we played from. He has been poor this season but thought he was ok tonight... bad miss apart.

Weird game, we were clearly the better and more positive team here, but the sharpness just wasn`t there for our strikers. Fred should of course been subbed at half time, don`t know what Ole was thinking there.
Hope we can forget this and quickly change focus to next game, every game is a must win.

We Played well tonight
Can’t really complain
Should have taken our chances but let’s stay positive

PSG are such a horrible team by the way
I have watched united every game this season and this was some of the best we’ve played
That's our captains post match interview, I guarantee it.
