He’s spent a lot of money already and not really achieved very much.

Bruno Fernandez has dragged you through so many games since January. He’s kept Ole in a job!

Lads. He simply isn’t of the level required to be a smart, tactical manager. He can’t organise us and he fecks around with mental subs.

Hes a joke. In over his head.

How many mistakes did Ole make to get us knocked out? A hell of a lot.

1. Kept Fred on versus PSG when it was obvious he'd get sent off

2. Played a back 5 despite not knowing how to coach one

3. Played two defensive midfielders with a back five.

4. Played two defensive midfielder who have zero range of passing.

5. Didn't change shape at 1-0 down when we looked shit.

6. Didn't sub on POGBA in the 20th minute when the game could be salvaged

7. Subbed in Van De Beek over Pogba at half time.

8. Waited even longer to sub on POGBA

9. Subbed off Telles only to sub off Shaw 5 minutes later for Brandon. Bonus is Shaw was just back and on a yellow.

10. Wasted the rest of our subs on defenders.

11. And the minus mistake being his inability to coach a team and defense going all the way to the Istanbul game and that goal.

Feel free to chime in with all his other feck ups.

Fred might have made the difference tonight. Ole’s decision to not withdraw him against PSG has blown not only the PSG game, but this one too. I’m not sure Ole will get a chance to manage us in the CL again and may forever regret the decision to keep him on against PSG.

we started the most defensive team imaginable and were 2-0 down in 15 minutes

after that it just got worse in terms of the decision-making

we brought on three defenders tonight, whilst chasing a game to get through in the UCL

How is that even possible?
Ole is a genius, thaths how. All part of the process, he will get it right in 2 years if we give him 5 years time

As someone who has always been ole in... he’s making it increasingly more and more difficult to do so. I want him to do it ... want him to be successful, as a fan who grew up in the 90s... he is iconic at this club. I just can’t see how he’s good enough tactically. The coaching... the excuses.... it’s just .. very underwhelming. Really really poor from us. Yet again.
...and that’s the way a lot of people are/was feeling. I was just like you but I soon realised it’s a dream that Ole will win us titles and I have to put my selfishness aside and think of the club first!

Then why hasn't he? He's been unemployed for 13 months. Barcelona preferred Koeman until unproven rookie Xavi is ready to come back and Real are in no rush to sack Zidane.
Poch is never getting the Barcelona job.

Ole has been at the club for two years now. His mantra was that we need to (as a bare minimum) out-work our opponents. Can anyone tell me a match this season where we’ve done that for 90mins? We don’t seem to have any set attacking routines set out and there is clear evidence that no defensive coaching goes on. Just what the feck do the6 do in training.

On top of all of this his is now allowing a mentality within Manchester United players that makes them believe that walking the first 30mins of a match is acceptable.

Ole has to go!

It's very simple for me.

At the highest level the margins are incredibly small. So you need one or more of these to succeed.

1. Lot of very very good players. We have a few but nowhere near enough.

2. An excellent manager who can make the team greater than the sum or parts. Which Ole is obviously not.

3. Luck.

Which of these is fixable for us? We are not buying shit ton of good players. Can't fix luck. So there you go.

Mind you for me, Ole has done a fair to decent job. But ultimately where can he take us?

He's their mate, they won't. Jose would get slated if he was our manager, Ole gets away with loads.
That’s the danger of too many ex players in the media, Ole will always be given a free pass by his ex colleagues

If he goes? Why hasn't he gone when this managerial genius is up for grabs?
Are you implying that Real Madrid have to sack Zidane for a few poor results just because Poch is available? That's not the way it works, sweetheart. In no way is it comparable to the Ole situation.

More excuses.

We needed a mere point from 6 and couldn't salvage that.
It's not an excuse. It's a fact. We weren't favourites to win either game. We were in a far stronger position after two games that when we blew it.

You seem to not have had much problems in your football life if you think that is hard. Nobody says 10 contract extension. But you guys are writing with feelings. When you get older you will understand.
Oh the irony  The only reason you are Ole in is because you like him as a person/a player. It has nothing to do with his management. You are writing with feelings. Sensible people are looking at facts. And facts are quite obvious - he is one of the worst managers we had in decades, all opposition fans are laughing at us and they pray Ole stays here for forever, when he is ultimately sacked he has no chance of finding a job in the PL, what does it say about him as a manager? Utter waste of time and replacing Jose with him is like a very bad April fool's joke which is ongoing for far too long now.

Ralf Rangnick.
Im not jumping in the ole out bandwagon just yet because ole wasn't supported in the transfer market.

Woodward out is more like it.
A poor craftsman always blames his tools.

Wasn't supported? He's spent £270m over 4 windows in 2 years for goodness sake. How much more time do you want to give him? He could have till eternity and it still wouldn't be enough.

You can't be that shallow, surely...

Fred was suspended, Vdb dont think he trusts him playing there yet.
Fred would have been ideal, but we also had both DVB and Pogba who could have played with Matic and gave them something to think about. Instead we couldnt get out, and couldn't keep the ball. Ive fully backed OGS but our exit tonight is 100% on him and your kidding yourself if you cant see that.

We have no clear playing style.
We don't pass and move with meaning, we're slow and rigid.
We rely on individual brilliance and moments.

Our tactics, mentality, pressing and in game management is a mess.

It falls on the manager and unfortunately we'll never achieve consistency. The club will support him as he doesn't rock the boat and some fans because he was a club legend.
This. RB attacked as unit with a collective ability to break us down. We in contrast rely on individual brilliance.

I have been saying this for about a year. We are relying on individual brilliance rather than collective brilliance.

We have lost 6 games this season already, 4 at home (just City to come next) and have conceded 18 goals in the process. The team is coached so poorly and the mistakes we make week in week out is beyond a joke. If it wasn't for some great escapes and Bruno we'd be hanging around with Arsenal in 15th. He has to go and his status as a former player should have no influence on making the correct decision for the club. His blatant lie in the presser about not playing for a draw and being defensive...then he picks that starting team!

He should walk if we lose on weekend.

How is anyone still backing this guy?

every single win is in spite of the way he sets the team up...

we go behind in every game because he has no idea what he is doing.

we get most points when we are able to scramble back via individual brilliance after a shocking start, usually having to completely change an ill thought out system in the process..

we have a decent squad, full of goals. Our weakest link is the manager.

He's done as much as he can now, we won't get top 4 the way we are playing. We concede first every game, we have only come back against teams we should have been beating anyways. We aren't even favourites for the Europa League.

Next summer no one will want to sign for us and we will be back to drawing board again and the transition will be back on for another few years. Same old cycle, with the same old board.

Surely we need to reset the fecking poll?! Mods get on it.
Yeah it's time that happened now because we need current feelings not ones from when we finished 3rd. There are too many who have been blinded by us getting champions league football and we need a realistic view on the situation

Mate, this is Manchester United! A 3 time European Cup winning Manchester United against a club that was founded about 13 years ago. The excuses being made make me sick.

A few poor results? There's a good chance they'll be 4th in their table and in the Europa League this time tomorrow and that's clearly worthy of being sacked.

oh 100%. He has been hanging on by a thread for a long time now so maybe it’s time to cut our loses and look for a better coach ...:( no doubt he will save himself somehow over the next few games!

Ralf Rangnick.
Scholes saying he needs to find an identity.

He’s been there 2 years. Unbelievable.
The only thing Ole should be finding is his passport.

He's spent £270m over 4 windows in 2 years. That was his team out there. If we still need to find an identity after all this time, then that's hilarious.

Funny enough if the Spanish papers are to be believed, he might be on the ropes already if they don't advance tomorrow even after winning the league this past season

The likes of Real and Bayern don't do sentimentality, only results
