My PC has an old 1080 GTX card...I also have a PS5 but I decided to get the PC version anyway....I am a little underwhelmed with how outdated the PS5 is already even compared to my 5 year old PC hardware (minus ray-tracing).
Some quick thoughts:
* Game is gorgeous and has an insane amount of detail I've never seen in any other game...ever
* Good enough amount of cars on the streets I guess, but even on the PC version I don't think there are enough NPC's walking around...considering how densely populated the city is supposed to be.
* I felt a bit overwhelmed with everything that going on at first when playing the game. It's certainly a different take on an RPG. Honestly I feel this genre suits the Witcher/Elder Scrolls games more
* This game seriously stresses my PC out. I'm running medium settings, no Ray Tracing at 1440P and I'm cracking about 30-40 FPS and sometimes slowing down to even 20 when driving....
* Story doesn't seem as good as Witcher so far. Best story I've played in recent years is easily Yakuza 0
* Driving and shooting mechanics are awkward. I can up the aim in settings, but then it feels too forced. On low it feels strange...doesn't seem to be a good balance for me here so far. Maybe I'll get used to it.
* The random NPC's are lifeless and their AI seems dumb. No better than the pedestrians on GTA V to be honest. Thought for a new generation it would be somewhat more immersive in that respect.
* Voice and movements are quite stiff looking
* Sh!t ton of bugs. Even the obvious bugs right from the get go
Anyway this isn't a review, I need to invest more time into the game. Seems promising so far, but i feel sorry for those on PS4/xbox as I don't know what stuff they are cranking down to even get it running on that tech. This game really needs a lot more horse power behind it.
Oh and last thoughts, Cyberpunk really feels like Shanghai in some respects. They must have taken inspiration from Tokyo and Shanghai. If anyone is interested I can post some pics of Shanghai that reminds me of the Cyberpunk game.
Happy gaming
